Here are my 2 Indy Holsters and close enough Airsoft revolvers. The holster on the left is a WWI Officers Webley. The holster on the right is a Todd's Deluxe. Cheers, G-MANN

Hey, G-Mann....
Did that Airsoft gun of yours come with an orange tip? If so how did you get rid of it? Were you able to pull it off or paint over it?

Harry,
Yes they all had the red/orange paint. I removed it with Acetone in just a few minutes.
Cheers, G-MANN

I think I may have asked Blues about it a long time ago but I couldn't remember what he said. I plan on buying one and I was hoping it wouldn't be to much of a hassle to remove it. Doesn't sound like it should be.

Nice holsters, but as you may have noticed we are liking the guns too! Are those still available from retailers? Make models?

Thanks harry I'll take a look and see if they will deliver to europe. Edit: no delivery outside USA. In the meantime, I stumbled across this site just now with a couple of suitable airsofts: S&W M10 Browning

That Browning sure looks good. Well, I went and picked this up today. Close enough for me. At least for pics. Airsoft: 1911. Only $20.00. I still need a revolver. Seems none of the local "walk-in" stores carry those much.

I changed the grips and added the Lanyard myself. The grips I got from Capt_Zak. It is a high quality Replica and actually has a decent weight to it since is has quite a few metal parts. Tone, A most EXCELLENT Find man Cheers, G-MANN

Thanks guys. I think it'll look pretty good for pictures. J_Weaver, you can blame (and I do ;D) G-Mann for the find. Ever since these revolver pics I've been wanting to pick up that revolver. Got to looking locally and found they're not that easy to find. $50.00 is about all I'm willing to pay for one of these; but man, Airsoft is huge and they get really expensive. Something's out of balance when you're being asked to pay an amount that is very close to the real thing. (Those money-driven corporate mongrels!) Even for this spring-loaded cheapo, it looks pretty good, though. There's even some metal in this one. Have you guys seen what some of the costs are on their gas-driven pistols? I could buy the real thing for some of those prices. That revolver is harder and harder not to order, though, G-Mann. I'm "this" close! I must admit that my favorite pistol is this one, however. I love this for a sci-fi concept gun! Fascinated with this pistol!

;D Exactly. Only $1750 for an $80 gun. Sounds like a bargain! The kits can be had for a smidge cheaper. Not too bad but the finishing and assembly is done by the buyer. Still, I'm considering it.... edcstudios.com/

Still, I'm considering it.... edcstudios.com/The $125 kit sounds like a nice project. This one is cheaper SCIFIMODELS $59.99. I have to go the airsoft route for obvious reasons, the gas S&W is about $125 I think... the site is down at the moment. We can't buy real ones here, though you can get deacts. I personally have a bit of a weird karma thing about second hand guns... having something that may have killed someone gives me the willies.

Way to go Tone. ... and super price too. I say again, even though we know it was a Browning, I'm convinced the auto in the bar and on the ship was supposed to be a 1911, as backed up by the original script.

Thanks for that link, KT. It's a snub-nose version, though. Gotta be the regular! You know, I'm the same way about antiques that you are about deact guns? I don't know what took place in the house where the item was last and that kinda freaks me out. Bama, I agree with that. The 1911 works for me. It's a semi-auto that looks close enough. And like you've said, the script mentions it. For pics this one's just fine.

please Please PLEASE PLEASE Don't order from EDC!!! He has a VERY long and well deserved reputation in the Star Wars prop community for taking orders and not delivering for YEARS, if at all. He's been banned for non delivery from ALL of the major prop boards, and I'd hate to see someone here get taken. If you don't mind building it yourself I recommend getting a BR blaster kit from here: www.sidkit.com/blaster/blasters.htmIt's a great kit, and pretty easy to build up. Here's mine: And in an attempt to steer this back on topic, here's my airsoft Indy pistol. It's the same base gun as the one G-Mann and Ken have. I used gunmetal and BBQ Black paint to make the finish a little more "gun-like."

::DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL:: WinstonWolf, THANK YOU for the heads up on where to and where not to get one of these! As for the moveable parts....does the gun hold up to moving around without the cylinder falling out of the side and things like that? It looks very sturdy. At first I thought the price was high but not when considering the amount of function it comes with. That is a great looking pistol you built!

I don't know what took place in the house where the item was last and that kinda freaks me out. If you are like that with antiques the Queen Mary must be a barrel of laughs for you! BTW I bought a Colt Delta airsoft for £20 (that's about the cheapest I can find here:() that'll do for the Browning until I can find something better.

Tone, The BR gun's very sturdy. Once everything is screwed and glued together it's very solid. The cylinder has a mechanical locking mechanism that works similar to a real revolver, so it stays put. I agree the sticker shock might be a factor, but the kit is very clean and the amount of metal makes it worth it. I actually built the whole thing over a weekend because it required very little clean up. I just noticed he's also offering a FULL METAL version now as well. If it's as well made as his metal/resin version, I have no doubt it'll make a great blaster.
