Okay, I'm onboard the double pocket bandwagon again... ;D Those are some crystal clear caps you've got there, Agent5! Nice job!!! Of course, I do realize this revelation made my hours of searching for pocketless, short-sleeve button shirt last night completely pointless... ;D Ken, your pic is pretty convincing, based on that I would have no doubt there were no pockets. But the clarity of this new HD cap is really amazing, and I can actually see the pockets now, though I will admit they are VERY hard to make out. But, given the evidence you had, you can't say you or Pitfall were wrong, as those caps you had really didn't show any pockets. It's almost funny to me how this quest for Jock's shirt seems to be following that same, old course as so many other gear items over the years, where details are examined and revelations are made, only to be refuted by new evidence...and this is just a freakin' shirt that Indy never even wore!!! ;D So anyways, we're going with pockets now, right? -GCR

I agree with Agent5 here. 2 buttoned pockets, no flaps and rounded (or diagonally cut across) corners at the bottom.

I am leaning towards the 2 pockets also. Even if there are none I prefer shirts with pockets.
That way I can still carry my stuff around and I don't have to wear pants. ;D
Cheers, G-MANN

Well, whatever encourages you to wear pants is the most important thing! ;D

Be careful if you get the wording printed in the US. The shirts might come back saying Air Pirats or something.

I see pockets too - and either way I would prefer a shirt with pockets.
I really hope these shirts will be made available - it would be a heck of a cool official Indy Lounge shirt.

We need pockets to carry the keys to the seaplane. Ken

If you get them printed in Torquay you'll end up with "Hairy Prats".

Man, you guys are good. I like the crap Tone found, it looks pretty damn close. It's so hard to tell from pics. If the shirt is a bit rough, then a shirt underneath would be screen accurate as well, since Jock seems to be wearing a yellow t-shirt under his. I will keep searching as well 'Blues I'm just quoting myself to explain why I used the word "crap", about Tones findings. I didn't even realize I used the word. It's one of those words I throw in when speaking about general things, like: "Man, that crap was cool." I apologize to Tone if he took any offense to what I said. I so didn't mean it the way it looks. Sorry Tone. 'Blues

Why....oh why...can't things be easy when it comes to these films and their clothing??? I mean seriously I'm beginning to think that the person in charge of the wardrobe was a magician in their spare time. I can see the faint outline of pockets on either side of the shirt now just below the name tag thanks to the pic posted by Agent 5 and the new shots by RB!!! I did not see them before and I couldn't see any on the DVD last night either! THIS IS MADNESS! ;D I'm sticking with Indy. I'll leave you guys to figure out Jock's "gear". I'm taking my "Bonehead" shirt and leaving..... ;D

I read "crap" as a shorter version for "that blue shirt thingee from that company though I can't remember what the name was at the moment." That stuff doesn't bother me and I wasn't offended, but thanks. (If you only knew how we talked around here.) I do the same thing with friends. They're all "bast-s" but it's a term of endearment.

EXACTLY!!! That's what I was getting at by using "crap". We're the same way here, we're always breaking each others balls. This place is so comfortable, I slipped into my casual self. Thanks for understanding. 'Blues

IndyBlues, Are you satisified with any of the shirts found so far? Should we continue to look for more, or should we now make a list and vote on the favorites? This was your concept, so I'm throwing the ball back at you to choose..... but choose wisely.... I'll be glad to combine all the links into one post, so everyone can check them out more easily if it helps to pick some front runners or a winner. Ken

Hmm, I like the assortment. Is there a way to post a pic, with a link under it in one post? That might help a bunch, and maybe we could do a poll, with everyones opinions. 'Blues

Yeah, I'll collect the links and pics after lunch or this evening (if things at work keep me away from the computer more than this morning). I may have to host some of the images on my server to make them show up in th thread without having to click a link. Then I'll set up a poll for voting.
Of course, anyone else is free to do this if they don't feel like waiting on me to get to it this afternoon/tonight.

Well, I'll thow my vote in early, as I looked through the options earlier today. I'm favoring the Aramark shirt that Tone posted. That seems the closest to what we see Jock wearing, while still being a work-type shirt. My second choice, which would probably fit into the work-type shirt category even better (but isn't as accurate) would be the Dickies shirt. Then again...the Travelsmith shirt is pretty nice, too, and might be more comfortable in terms of wearing it around...Hmmm...okay, maybe I should think about this a little bit more... ;D -GCR

I'm with you, GCR. I like Tones choice the best. It has the closest color, and the button pockets. I started another thread with some pics, so we can discuss the shirt choice there. 'Blues
