What does the LC/CS washed goat from Wested actually look like? This is the jacket I'm thinking of getting. The pic on the site shows it like it has a bit of wear on it (which is what i want), but is that really what you get?

Washed goat is a completely matt leather. The pic is what you'd get. Better hurry they no longer have any of this leather to make up jackets do any stock jackets they have will probably be the last.

Well, my hands are tied up until the 28th September. That's when I'm getting the money required for my costume. Can't do anythig until then, I'm afraid.

The leather looks nice! It actually looks a little like cow novapelle.

Will they buy this leather any time soon? Or did they just end the production of washed goat jackets?

Oh I will, don't worry. I can't wait! Hopefully it'll be here by the end of the week. I called Wested last week and I asked them what their delivery times were to Northern Ireland and they said it was 2 days!! So, if I order it on Tuesday, I should have it by Friday or Saturday at a stretch.
But I'm ordering my entire costume on Tuesday, so I'll probably just wait until I get everything before I take some pics and post them.

Oh, man! You must have, like, $3,000! That's what it takes to buy a whole set of Indy Gear and not be broke. I'd buy the gear in rounds of four: Round 1: The "Submarine" Look Shirt Pants Web Belt Boots Round 2: The Major Gear (Required for authenticity) Hat Bag Gunbelt Holster Round 3: The Weapons and Minor Gear (Can go without for some time) Whip Gun Jacket Movie-Specific "Accessory" (Either a pair of Work Gloves, a Steel Machete, a Black Tie, or a WWII Backpack, depending on the movie) At least, that's how I'd do it. Actually, what I meant was that it takes at most $2,000 to make an Indy Gear costume, but it takes an extra $1,000 to stay financially okay.
What about the boots and the gunbelt?

Well Steven, like I said, the shoes (boots) are from Todd's Costumes. And I'm just gonna buy a normal brown belt for the gunbelt. Why spend $30 + shipping for something I can get for £2 at a normal shop?
And yes, I'll be financially okay. I got a nice cash settlement from work and that afforded me to get LASIK eye surgery, this costume and a flight to see my relatives in Canada next April. I get the money tomorrow in my bank account, so all day tomorrow, I'll be spennding like there's no tomorrow! LOL.
My name is Ciaran, btw! Just thought I'd introduce you all to my name! LOL.

Not gonna bother with a gun. I'm from Northern Ireland, so that's all I should need to say about the matter! Not a good idea for a Catholic such as myself walking around the streets of Belfast on Halloween Night holstering a gun, even if it's a fake. LMAO! Over here, it's illegal to have a toy, replica or (obviously) real gun in public. While guns are completely illegal here anyway. I'l just stick to the empty holster. Sure, nobody would know the difference anyway! LOL.

Ah, I see. It's really depressing, these stupid gun laws that deter prop replicators from completing their collections. They're legal here in Arizona, and I'll get myself a few fake guns later on. BTW, Nice avatar! ARCHIVAL EDIT: Irish Indy Fan's Avatar Mileage, not years! Steven

Well, in this country, the laws are very wise, I must say. Prop replicas are allowed to be owned in private, but not to be taken outside publicly, if you know what I mean.
Thanks about the avatar. I looked over lots of different pics of Indy and found that one that I really hadn't seen before.
Thanks, Ciarán.

BTW, Do you want to resize your avatar? I know you can do it in one shot with a mathematical equation, but I forgot it. Trial and error works, too. Steven

Haha, Steven if it has to do with any form of maths, I'm away from there! I can't work with numbers to save my life! Was the bain of my scholastic years! LOL.
