My Wested jacket, pants and belt still haven't arrived yet. Getting really annoyed now.

Dang! I'm absolutely sure I'm going to avoid buying from Wested. I'm not going to be able to take waiting that long. Steven

I just waited over a month for a custom, although they said it'd take 7-10 days.
I wouldn't rule out Wested, though. Once you get the jacket, it's all worth it. If they get it right, that is. Which they did with mine!

"The fuhrer is not a patient man. He demands constant reports, and he expects progress!"
I've heard too many things about Wested's "hit-and-miss" quality and customer service to want to risk it. If you like Wested, then that's okay. That means they got it right with you. But I'm just not going to take the risk.

IIF.
Give them a call on monday to see how they are getting on with your order.
A few things to consider,
1) The month or 2 before halloween really slams them. Everyone seems to want Indy gear round this time. 2) They just got hit with a big movie contract so that takes priority unfortunately. 3) Their normal custom estimate is 4 weeks. Sometimes people get lucky and get them quicker. But not at this time of year! 4) At least this zipper is on the correct side of the jacket (Sheesh!) lol! 5) Washed goat has been out of stock. I don't know if they have got new supplies.

Well, my jacket wasn't a custom, just off the rack. And plus, I only live in Northern Ireland, it's not like it has to go international or anything. I don't think I'll be buying from Wested again. They may do great jackets, but their customer service is terrible. I may look into getting a jacket elsewhere if I decide to have a repeat purchase.
And Steven, IIF stands for IrishIndyFan. LOL.
Ciaran.

5) Washed goat has been out of stock. I don't know if they have got new supplies. Well, I ended up changing my mind at the 11th hour and bought the LC/CS Authentic Lambskin instead.

And Steven, IIF stands for Irish Indy Fan. LOL.Ciaran. The context KT was using it in... That's just it, there was no context to compare it to. It was by itself. I assumed it was another phrase I had to look up like IMO (In My Opinion) or FTW (For The Win). So, I had to ask him, Ciaron Ciaran. Steven

Hahaha, never worry about it Steven. And, I'm sorry, it's no biggie, but my name is spelled Ciaran. LOL. Just FYI.

Actually your name is pretty easy. ;D
It was probably just a typo, though. And there's no strained A on my keyboard. ;D

I called Wested today and spoke to Peter himself. I asked what was keeping my order (jacket, trousers and belt) and it seems that they've been having trouble with the makers of the trouser fabric.
That doesn't bother me at all.
What DOES bother me however, that when I asked Gemma the same thing yesterday, she told me that it'd been sent in the post last Tuesday or Wednesday and that there must be a problem with their delivery couriers.
Why did Gemma not tell me the truth when I gave the exact same information to Peter? I really don't know why I was given two completely different sets of information.
Now, I completely respect Peter as he was just about to close the shop when I called (it's very difficult for me to call during working hours, as I work full time too) and I appreciate his honesty and cander when I asked him. I was quite frustrated when he told me the real version of events.
Peter, if you are reading this, I very much appreciate that you took the time to answer the phone to me this afternoon.
I was considering not ever ordering from Wested again, as I believe I was getting shoddy customer service by Gemma. I will really have to see the jacket and trousers themselves and decide for myself whether to make another purchase in the future.

It's possible Gemma confused you with another customer. But sorry to hear about the problems with the trousers. I hope they can ship your order out to you soon.

Well Peter told me that when they get the pants made on Friday, they'll ship the whole lot out to me on that day. Hopefully, it won't take too long to arrive.
