I see Wested is branching out a bit and offering an X-Men 1 Wolverine replica jacket now. Their jacket is suprisingly not very screen accurate but a nice looking jacket just the same. At any rate, it's about half the price of the correct Vanson film jacket from X1 and the Bates jacket from X2. Just like Indy, Wolverine had 3 similar but distinctly different jackets in all three films. Maybe Wested will reproduce them all if these sell well. I'm glad to see them reproducing other movie jackets at reasonable prices. I'm glad to see 'em branching out and making other jackets. I wanted a Rocketeer jacket for awhile, but the only other one I can find is like, a thousand bucks. The Wested alternative is just as fantastic looking and much cheaper.

I have seen the Wested Rocketeer in person, it's ok, but the abbyshot looks further down the road. I suspect there are a few bugs to work out on the Wested. And you know how much of a fan of Peter's I am. |

I'd like to get an Indy jacket in that color leather. It's very nice though somewaht heavier than we'd normally have for an Indy. I believe it's cow hide. There's no harm in asking. |

If I bought it I'd end up going down a whole other avenue of "gear collecting" and I'd have to have the entire Rocketeer look to go with it.....including the jetpack which they do sell.

Oak, you have made a great choice. That is a BEAUTiful jacket. Looking at his site it's apparently Laurel Horsehide, and having seen it in person I can honestly say it is a very fine jacket and anywhere else I'd expect you to have to pay well over $1000 for it.

Kt templer, you are right about that. Abbyshot has it and is over a $1000. I had one on order and even had it my hands. There is a problem that there jacket is off the rack not custom. There was to much of a difference between my chest measurmenst and my waist measurments. Back went the jacket and they refunded me and off to Wested I wen't. They do great work but, I guess I can't buy off the rack. I will post pics when I get the Wested Rocketeer jacket in.

J-weaver, your right about that and I'm not in the shape that I used to be. I'm still having trouble buying off the rack. I'll post pics when I get it. I'm glade I'm getteing it from Wested.
