Really nice! How long did it take you to get the first jacket after you ordered?

It took about 3 weeks from when I ordered to when I got it, and that included a little over a week where US Customs held on to it.

When did you order it? I ordered mine early to mid December and I'm going to start expecting it next week. Gemma told me it should be dispatched soon. I expected to wait three to four weeks due to the holidays.

Is it OTR greyfedora & jnick? I ordered mine Nov 27th and never heard anything else from then. Contacted them about an update but no reply. It's custom goat Raiders. The wait is killin me!

thats a nice jacket! im looking at getting one myself from wested and was thinking of going for a novapelle but after seeing yours im torn between that and the washed goat as I want the worn look. Is yours a standard wested or is it a custom? it looks like a raiders. Is that the 80s cut too? any help would be much appreciated as the amount of choice and variations aren't helping me decide what to go for!
thanks

All I asked from Wested was a Raiders Washed Goatskin jacket, in a size 42L. 42L is not an off the peg option, so it is considered custom. However, I made no other changes to this jacket... So basically this is just like the off the peg jackets except in a slightly longer size.

That's strange. And it took 3 weeks total for you to get it? I haven't heard a thing nor gotten my jacket. I wonder what the hold up is. Did they give you a tracking number automatically or did it show up by surprise for you?

The washed goat is a terrific leather. My only concern was, since it looks years old in a few months, what's it going to look like after a few years. Still you can't get a more Raiders looking leather out of the box.

I asked Wested for a tracking number, and they gave it to me. Maybe you should e-mail them and ask them what the latest is on your jacket, and if it hasn't shipped yet, to give you a tracking number when it does. Who knows? Maybe customs has it right now (they are known for keeping your jacket for sometimes weeks!).

Mine is a custom. thedarkknight, you might want to go ahead and e-mail then and possibly call them. You should have gotten the jacket by now.

That's funny that you guys are getting yours. I have emailed Wested a polite email requesting tracking number or status update. I got no reply to either. I shot them 1 more email a few weeks after that, and got nothing. Maybe it is already on it's way as we speak and is very close. That would be great.

What e-mail address are you sending it to? I always use gemma@wested.com and I have always received quick responses.

wested@wested.com The original email that came in the "processing order" email that you automatically get. Not sure if that goes to Gemma or if I should directly email her next week if I still hear nothing or get no jacket.

I really would try gemma@wested.com
It has always worked for me, and for what I hear people that use wested@wested.com sometimes never get a reply.

Good idea. I sent an email their way. If they truly are only out on Bank Holidays, then they should reply tomorrow.

I don't know if this can help but I've noticed that writing to Wested@wested.com (with the first capital letter) I've received a very quick reply. In other way I've wrote many mails at wested@wested.com (without capital letter) with no reply at all... In other way I quote the advice to write at gemma@wested.com

Putting a cap W really shouldn't make any difference. But you never know!
gemma@wested.com seems to work.

Wow, I'm a little late chiming in on this one, but that is one hell of a nice jacket, Jnicktem! The color and texture of the leather look great, and the fit seems to suit you perfectly! That washed goatskin has such a great look to it. Once my "gear fund" is replenished I think I know what my next jacket is going to be.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! When I first took the jacket out of the wrapping, I was worried it would be too small, but when I tried it on (literally seconds after the postman gave it to me) I was pleasantly surprised on how well it fit! Plus, as countless others have said, the washed goatskin jacket is a winner! I love this jacket!
