I just wanted to up-date everyone. I just set up an account with USPS so I can get hats out using priority mail with confirmation. It wont cost me anymore and will make things move a little faster on my end when it comes to dropping off boxes to be shipped. This way people will get their hats with as little delay in shipping.
I'm sorry to those who had to wait the extra days but now that is all fixed, things should run much smoother now.
thanks again everyone
thanks John, that mens a lot comming from you.

John,
It is great to see what a completely Professional approach you have taken towards your whole business. I am really amazed at the progress you have made in such a short time. Amazed but not surprised.
I think you found a hidden talent that you were previously unaware of.
You may not be making people as happy as you did when you were a Firefighter saving thier lives but you're still keepin' them happy.
Way to go John

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be taking a little time off. I have a life long friend coming in from NYC. he will be joining myself and a fellow fire fighter. The 3 of us will be going to washington for Octoberfest. I will try and work a little this weekend as to try and keep my 3 hats per week average for the week I take off but most likely will only get one hat out that week. This will be the first week in October.

I first wanted to thank everyone who has given me their support. Thank You.
Just as a reminder to people who want to place an order and those who have already. I'm asking for payment with order. For those who placed an order who hasn't sent payment please do so now.
If I come up to your number and you haven't paid yet. I'm just going to skip your number and place the next person in your spot. It could delay you receiving your hat by a great deal. It is the only way to make things run smoothly for both parties. Thanks for your understanding.
John

Just wanted to up-date everyone on how things are going.
I just finished a hat for someone who will get his hat early because I was trying to make myself a hat for my trip and never got it done in time. I decided to not finish it for myself but to make it for one of my customers who ordered a LC hat.
I finished off all the numbers in the single digits and the teens. I'm now hitting numbers in the 20's, 30's and 40's. Like I stated before that I jump around due to the fact that not everyone is the same size. If you are in that middle range size the wait will be longer than someone who is on the large size or on the small size.
I hope that helps to understand how things are and thank for your understanding.

I have had a couple of people give me their head measurements based off of hat sizing charts. This has caused a problem with those people getting hats that don't fit. Even when they sent me a measurement in inches it really was from a hat size chart and not really taken from their own head.
My hats are custom fitted and not mad to fit off the rack. My blocks are custom made for the sizes I wanted. They are not standard size. I'm trying to make everyone happy but I can't remake hats for people when they make a mistake like this.
If you normally wear a size 7 3/8 and know that I want sizes in inches don't go to a web site and to some size chart and look up 7 3/8 and get that in inches and give it to me. It wont work. I need a true measurement from your own head.
I hope this is clear. I'm sorry for the rant.
I have a open crown Raiders brown brand new with the head measurement of 22 3/4. If you would like to buy this hat contact me. No wait time at all.
thanks again John

I have 9 felt body's on the block drying in one stage or another. I just flange 3 hats today to get them ready for the parts to be sewn in IE: sweatband, liner ribbon and little white bow.
I finished 2 hats this week. I'm still working on my third. (Staying with my average that I set for myself I had to work last night and this morning. My therapy for my back and neck is eating a lot of my time during the week). 2 for the forums and one is a non member. The one that is a non member is my first lady's hat. I have one more tiny thing to do to this hat to call it done then I will post pics. maybe I can get her to take a pic for me but I don't think she will.
