I just placed an order for some more felt to fill what I didn't have. Now I will have felt for everyone on the list. They should be on their way in a week. The sweatbands are the big hold up but should be soon.

Let try this again. can everyone on the list please go to my site an fill out the order form.
I have now place an order form on my web-site. Please read it and fill it out completely. again fill it out completely. I can't send you a hat if I don't have your address. I can't give you a member discount if I don't have your member name. I have done this to try and get everyones information in one place. I had people sent me bits of information in different e-mail and PM's.
If you have questions for me use info@penmanhats.com
the order form and sales@penmanhats.com are for keeping track of orders.
Thanks again.

Up date:
-sweatbands has been shipped but has not arrived yet. -Blocks are waiting and are next to be made. I have three that I'm using now. -Indy dark brown ribbon ( that I just found ) Should ship any day and take a week or so to get here.
I really don't want to send out any Indy ( brown ) hats using the old ribbon because that ribbon is nothing compared to the stuff I just found. I hope everyone can understand.

The new Indy dark brown ribbon will go out in a couple of days and should take a week or so to get here with any luck. The new ribbon will be worth the wait. If you ordered a Indy brown hat I will make the hat and put it aside until the new ribbon gets here. When it arrives I will stop what I'm doing and finish off the Brown Indy hats waiting on ribbon. I really don't want to send out any Indy Brown using anything else. I hope everyone can understand. Thanks again.
FYI, I'm paying much more for this ribbon than than the other that I was going to use but think it's worth it. I'm taking the hit but somewhere down the line my prices will have to reflect sometime in the near future.
My wife took my son and nephew up to washington state for three days to a indoor water park. I stayed behind to work on hats and to take care of a leek that I have. Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm working hard.

Just wanted to up date as much as possible.
I'm killing the list. It's to much to keep up to date withand trying to get supplies in, work on hats, respond to Pm's, e-mails and now a leak that I have to play stump the plumber with. My house is a wreck.
Most of the update is in the couple of post that I already posted but I really need the following people to at least fill out the order form so I have all the info.
bonkffd johnny fedora cowboy827 indyholt too bacat gmann

Sorry everyone for being a little lost this past week. I had a nice leak that the plumbers couldn't locate right away and they had to start digging up floors and cutting into walls. I haven't got much done this week and I lost a couple of hats. The good news is that the sweatbands are in as well as the new ribbon and boxes. I finished two of the five hats I was working on and they are in the hands of their owners. I had to remake Gmann's hat and it will be done today and go out in the morning. The other hat was for the mechanic and I will have to wait until some more felt comes in to re-do his hat. I talked with him on the phone and I thank you ( the mechanic ) for being patient. To answer some of your question........ I have never did a bound brim but would like to try but will leave that for some other time. There are two ways to go with the bound brim. machine stitch it on or to do it like Marc ( ABD) by hand. I have to say after seeing his bound brim hat. I was in love with it and he will be making me one sometime in the future. He is his own machine. It would have to take you all day to make a bound brim by machine like Marc. That = dollars. One last thing. I'm still wait for more blocks to show up and it looks like the first dozen or so on my list is in this batch of blocks. Once these blocks show up things should run a little faster. Here is some felt pieces I took with my iphone. My wife has the digital camera ( and she's out of town again).

Just wanted to pop in and give a little update.
I'm working on two hats right now. I'm also putting together sweatbands for people that I'm waiting for their size blocks. I'm also getting the ribbon ready for those same people. IE: getting the bow put together and the not. This way I have a bit of a head start on when the block arrive.
Once the blocks show up then it should be a matter of days before we see hats leave my hands on a good pace.

Here is a couple of pics of the first couple of hats done. first Indy 4 grey here's a non Indy grey and here is a pic of what the sweatbands look like (sahara non Indy ). sorry about some of the pics but my wife has the real digital camera. I'm stuck with the iphone camera. I'm working on 2 CS brown hats and about a half dozen of sweatbands are done and I will still work on making more to get a jump on some of the hats

If I come up to your name on the list and I don't have all that info I will be skipping you name. I will be asking here in the near future that all orders will have to be paid in full to be an order.

Just wanted to keep everyone up to date on how things are going. I have done a lot of work this week but you wont see a lot of movement from it. You will see ( or should I say). I hope to have a lot of movement next week. I have several hats drying as we speak on blocks. I spent 2 days blocking hats and boy my hands hurt. The first one dry I'll work on and move it along the next step. I do as much as I can until I have to let it sit. The hats move in three steps.
Next week will be very helpful because my kid goes back to school.
One more thing.
I have one hat done and just sitting on my table waiting for payment. I have another one on one of my blocks that is not paid for as of yet. From now on if I don't have payment by the time I come up to your order I will just skip it until the payment is in hand.
If you haven't sent me payment yet please do so, Thank You.
As a reminder that I'm taking payment with order from now on. Thanks Again
