Some times these TV shows get me thinking. However, I am very, very, very skeptical. I've seen more dead people in my 21 years than I can rememebr, no ghost so far.

respectable opinion weaver... .. technically i`m neutral... because 85 persent of my own photos i can discredit... but there are a few that jsut send a chill down my spine and those are the ones that keep my ghost hunting.....factor in the personal experiences i`ve had..... It seems harder and harder to believe they don`t exist..

Never seen one or spoken to anyone who has. However I do not say that there is no such thing.

ok here goes a story...
July of 1996.. we had to put down the beloved dog of my grandfather who died in 1990..we were all devastated... that same night... after mom and dad broke the news to me.. we were walking down the hallway at the end of which.. off to the left.. is our TV... My grandmother was sitting there watching.. and my mom and dad were behind me... as i walked out.. a glass of soda that was ontop of the TV lifted off... floated to the back of the room behind my granmothers chair.. and banged into the wall spilling soda.... but not breaking the glass.... weird??? Maybe..
a Possible explanation: A build up of Electrons and super heated plasma particles from the TV transfered their Kinetic energy into the glass.. causing this brilliant phenomenoa ( sp?)
Explanation2: My Grandfathers spirit was upset.,. and threw the glass....
whats more believable??

The mind is a very complex and powerfull tool.
If you belive in something your mind will help you to see it.
like g-mann, who doesn't believe in it will never see on ( like myself).

right.. but you WILL see and feel things you cannot explain... which is what some classify as ghosts,ghouls,goblins..etc.. and some other people brush it off as deja Vu...... its all like you said.. what you wih to believe in...

yes, if you want to believe in something you mind will make it so. That doesn't mean it is.

Well, out of all of these subjects I think ghosts are the majority of what I read about and look at. It seems lately there has been a never ending flow of "Ghost pics and videos"........I'd even argue they out number the UFO stuff lately. Do I believe they exist. Yes. Have I ever seen one in person or know someone close who has. No. I think certain people are more susceptible to hauntings for whatever reason. When I'm looking for credibility when it comes to ghost sightings I tend to look more toward the videos than the pics because still shots can be faked rather easily. Video shots on the other hand are a lot more difficult to alter. I don't believe it's against my religion to believe they exist but I could be wrong. I've ran into a few people who are very devoted to their religion that think it's all nonsense........ That is something that's always boggled my mind. I'm Catholic and so is most of my family. For some reason it's easier for my father to take every supernatural event in the Bible as fact and then turns around and dismiss anything anyone has to say about ghosts as rubbish! How can anyone sit there and say someone coming back from the dead is more believable than someone witnessing a ghost on a camera. Please explain the logic in that one! And by the way if we are all supposed to have souls then wouldn't it make more sense that this is what ghosts actually are? I've always looked at them as one and the same.

I guess you would have to believe in souls first.

This is one of those things that I would really like to believe in but I'm very skeptical. I've certainly had many weird feelings from time to time like I'm not alone or I'm being watched but that proves nothing, of course. I've experienced phenomena such as sounds that seem to have no explanation, muffled voices and things like objects moving or falling but all of that could probably be explained away. I would have to classify myself as unconvinced but open minded. I once thought I saw a ghost in a large cattle barn that hadn't been used for years. A man was rumored to have hung himself in the barn. I was just poking around in the place and saw what appeared to be a translucent form about 5 feet high and a foot or so across. It floated across an old horse stall around a pole and then darted around a corner as if it realized I was watching it. I was terrified but chased it around the corner. I found the "ghost" draped across a railing. It was one of those large wooly spiderwebs apparently just being carried along in the wind. I was very disappointed but for those few seconds I really believed.

I was listening to an audio drama a while back that dealt heavily with the ghosts and how one in the church might deal with them. The protagonist was an Episcopal priest who was being confronted about alleged ghost activity on a military base. A skeptic says to him "Father, what does the church say about all this?"
Father Gilbert: "I'll tell you what the church knows about ghosts." Skeptic: "Go ahead." Father Gilbert: "Not much. You want to know what we don't know? A lot."
I maintain a belief that supernatural activity happens in a visible way. Just what kind of forces do things like poltergeists and hauntings is something I haven't decided on for myself yet; but I do believe that angels, demons, and perhaps even ghosts in the traditional sense, are at work on earth.

CJ are these pictures you took? I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at in the first pic? The second one just looks like a kids reflection in the TV.
