Just a few of my "babies", a '73 P-bass, and a '76 fretless P-bass.

Aww man a Sheraton II, I wish I still had mine. It was a sweet guitar. I also made a Tele, from Warmoth parts, with Fralin Blues pick-ups. That was another nice guitar. It was also a lot easier to build than I would have thought. I love my Sheraton. It was my first "real" guitar, which my mom bought me back when we had no money. I've had it for 19 years, and in that time have changed just about everything on it. In it's current state, it has a B6 Bigsby and custom made tension roller, Gretsch bar bridge on a modified rosewood base, 2 humbucker sized p-90 single coils and a hot rod wire setup (just a volume and a selector switch, both relocated to the upper bouts). There is just something about the necks/fretboards on those old Sheraton II's which I absolutely love.

Hey all, just thought I'd chime in on this. I'm a player, I use an EJ signature strat. I was dead set against ever using a signature series. I compared the EJ to a '57 reissue and a '62 reissue, and by far the EJ is the best sounding strat I've ever heard. I did some professional playing, recorded with Chris Isaak years ago, played some in Nashville. I don't play much anymore, but I still have my EJ.

I just saw this. Been playing poorly for 50 years. I was primarily a lead singer in the late fifties / mid sixties. Played a Fender Nocaster back then. Now I play on Maritns. I still play and hour a day. Mainly doo-wop and the late fifties stuff. Gailen

Recently picked this bad boy up with $200 and a trade in. Looks like a 64' Re-Issue of the original but its a Catalina. Nice kit to own, originally a $700 kit, with the trade in and all, I paid $400 total. $300 scratch and dent (which I traded in) and a hundred or so. Nice deep sound. Its a great gigging set.
