Beautiful axes. I think the Pagey Paint Jobs on the SG and the Strat are especially sharp. I also like the looks of that club.

I only painted the strat - the SG came that way. And, yes I did sucumb to a road worn!! Absolutely love it too - 50s style in sunburst. I now hardly play anything else!! A real delight to play and a terrific sound!

Congrats, Pagey! They are awesome, aren't they?? So lightweight, and resonant. They sound great even before you plug them in, like a good guitar should. Mike

Thanks Mike! I'm really pleased to have been tempted to buy this guitar. I had actually sworn never to buy another Strat- and yet this is now my guitar No1. Apart from anything else, it's the first useable standard tremelo I've ever found. Even if I go mad with Hendrix style divebombing, it doesn't really go out of tune!! On every other strat owned, I ended up blocking of the trem for a fixed bridge. I've just come in from another raucous band session - we filmed some stuff so maybe there'll be some clips on youtube.

Left to right...Heavily modified SX SF62, modified Epi Sheraton II, modified Gretsch ProJet, Stock Squire Tele, Modified Gretsch 5120. And here's a tele I made from a kit Well, I already started upgrading my Orange Gretsch. I added the Sperzel locking tuners, and customized the pickguard. Waddya think?? Rockabilly,..er,..I mean 'Blues Blues, who made the decal for your pick guard? I swear I've seen that same picture on the Gretsch Pages. Are you a member?

Nice guitars kwad! That's a nice Telecaster that you made. I used to have a black Fender Stratocaster, but I sold it about a year ago. I should start practicing playing guitar again.

Noah,
You should totally take up the guitar again (that is when you're not cracking that beautiful whip from Graeme). It is quite a rewarding activity.

Yeah I'd like to pick up the guitar again. It's a really fun activity. I could practice after I crack my beautiful whip from Graeme. BTW, looking forward to seeing your whip from Graeme!

I know this is an older post but I play, Got a Epiphone Les Paul Standard pretty good guitar, I just wish I was a better lead guitarist I'll stick with rhythm for now, I'm playing through a Peavey amp it's pretty good, I can get some pretty good Beatles style tones out of it. I'm studying music theory now and can read sheet music. Another Picture ~Buck

Nice guitar! My dad had a Les Paul a long time ago. I wish he still had it. I even kinda wish I had my old Fender electric guitar which I sold over a year ago. But at least I got some cash from it. I'm picking up the guitar again. Still rusty, but trying to practice.

I use my dad's guitar. It's an Oscar Schmidt guitar. It's electric but looks like an acoustic. How many guitars do you have?

Two, an old epiphone acoustic that my aunt gave me because she never played it, and the Les Paul which I got like a month ago. The les paul is a great guitar but it is pretty heavy and the strings on it right now aren't very good. There pretty nice guitars though I can't think of what to name My electric.
How long have you played?

Cool man. A Les Paul would be nice to have.
I started playing over three years ago. But I didn't keep at it for too long. I knew the chords, but I forgot them now. I'll learn them again though! How about you?

Cool, cool. I taught myself how to play some parts of a song. That song Iron Man by Black Sabbath. My dad taught a little how to play the guitar.

I am pretty much the same too. I tried to learn songs just by playing around with the chords. Although I would sometimes look for tabs. Do you play any songs?

It was a sweet guitar. I also made a Tele, from Warmoth parts, with Fralin Blues pick-ups. That was another nice guitar. It was also a lot easier to build than I would have thought.
