Hi GCR. I ordered the 44L, and am hopeful that the fit is right. The reference jacket I had was also a 44L, and am 99% sure this size made more sense than a regular. I prefer the longer sleeves ala CS, but will double-check the body when it comes it. If anything else, I think its better to err on the side of a little bit too long, given that there is really only about a 1" difference between the regular and long in the sleeve and body length. I have spent alot of time studying pictures of other's jackets here, on other forums, as well as movie photos from the 4 films, but felt the lengthier torso would be a safer bet if I wasn't tucking the shirt in that day. I was also right on the edge between reg and long, at 5' 10 1/2", and a 34" shirt sleeve. I must say, I am quite excited as their product is excellent. Only 12 weeks or so until the weather cools off...
