so your pockets look pretty much just like the shots u posted? They arent as scalloped as the pics KT just posted, are they? Im also questioning now how well the jacekt really would fit me. I bought a 48 from wested in raiders and it was pretty much the stock sizes he has listed. My chest measures 44-46 inches at relaxed and breathing deep. I measured both my todds and my goat compairing your jacket specs. The todds definitely smaller , but that jackets a bit tight on me anyways now that i see. The goat fits me pretty great now, and it was even a tad bit smaller in measurements. It was a bit longer and a bit wider from the 26 inches for the armpit you listed. Im sure if it was slightly too big, i could do a very basic spray with some water (not overdoing it), and let it dry some. This would also give jsut a bit of aging, which i would then let age on its own from there. Man this is tough... I really wish i knew how light in comparison to the todds this jacket is.
Pitfall did you get your GB yet? Im sure you could give me a good comparison.
Not trying to be picky blues, but u know how it is spending on these things. The price is definitely great though. Im afriad ill wait to get a todds still even with this lamb GB. lol

I completely know how it is, lol. It's tough when there are so many variables. The pockets are just like you see, not near as scalloped as KTs. One other thing. There is another guy interested, that contacted me before you. It may be sold. That may end up making your mind up for you, unfortunately. I'll keep you posted. Mike

Well, looks like it sold. Sorry about that Andakin. If it's any consolation, it was sold to a member here, and he said that if it doesn't fit him the way he likes, he will contact you to see if you are still interested. Sorry to derail this thread with my sale. Mike

No problem mike, my pocket says thank you!!! Im guessing ill like to have the Todds still, its cheaper, and gives me the effect i need and want without making me cry. I found a great way to distress my goat today too. We work at a brick building, at least some of the walls are brick, especially the wall all the way down the stairrs going to the basement where we print. So on my ways down now i just drag my back and body against the wall lol. Leaves some good scuffing, and white and red resido from the brick. I whip most of it off, but it can leave some nice effects. Some of the power makes it seem like hardcore distressing on my jacket, without always leaving big marks. After i added pecards last night i didnt think id be able to beat this goat up so much still. But i found a new way now!!!
Anyways back on topic. Ill be interested to see how it fits the lounge memeber, hope to see some photos !!!

that does. Thanks GCR. I'm thinking I'll get a 44L and maybe they can adjust the arm length....though that would make it not returnable. These G&B's are just too good looking to pass up. And I love the dark brown color. OK, here is what I got from G&B The sizes for the 44T. Sleeves 36.5in --- Back 27in. When measuring the sleeve, go from the middle of the yolk to the end of the shoulder, then end of the shoulder to the wrist. Add the two.I noticed that my Wings from the longest point of the sleeve where it meets the yoke to the cuff is 24". It is also an XL... My LC Wested sleeves are harder to measure because they bow (are not a continual stove pipe) but they measure some 25" Guess I just have to buy one and give it a whirl. The back dimension is perfect for me. Maybe I will just live with splitting the difference. So I am a dunce. I never measured the jacket when I got it. I washed it last October and let it air dry (80% then I wore it till it was dry) but did not notice any real bad shrinking. I just measured the sleeves today and they are a whopping 35" and the back panel 25" !!! Did washing it make it shrink THAT MUCH If so, I am and idiot and if I did not measure upon receiving, I am an idiot once again!!! If it did shrink due to washing, is it possible that I could wash it again and stretch the sleeves 1/2 to 1"? Would the length stay??? Looking for expert opinions. BTW, the sleeve length is really not that bad, but I would like it about 1" longer..I still love this jacket very much.

Well, hot water worked when I decided to stretch out my pocket flaps on my Wested to make them more scalloped. That was done a while back (almost a year) and they have stayed that way since. Of course, I don't know if this would work for stretching sleeves, but it might. Of course, hot water might also make them shrink even more, so who knows? -GCR

They were almost identical in size, maybe just a smidge of difference in size. Look at the diffierence now. The smaller one now, was given the hot water treatment. They are lamb, 44R. indylounge.proboards105.com/index.cgi?board=jacket&action=display&thread=195

Anyone who has a Expo in 44 reg- please post sleeve and back panel lengths. Middle of collar stand to shoulder and then shoulder to cuff for the sleeve measurement. Thanks in advance! Indybalooze-I washed mine in cold and let air dry.

I may get a Expedition in a 44T. It was either that or US Wings Vintage Cowhide in 44L. US Wings is 2 inches longer however, at 29.25".

Mine is spot on for length for a Indy jacket, but I will get mine next time in extra, extra tall for the sleeve length. The body is perfect in length for me. By the way, I have had all three Indy jackets and G&B is the very best of them all! You are choosing wisely!

I'm 5' 11" and 185lbs. I wear a 44R in a suit jacket, but I got a 44T G&B because I wanted my jacket to be a little long on me. Both of my G&B's were big on me when new (in the sleeves), but after the water treatment and putting them in the dryer on high heat....they both fit me perfectly now. The sleeves shrunk one inch. The body shrunk only slightly.

See, now I wear a 44R in a suit jacket too. I ended up just ordering a 46R to make sure I had a little extra sleeve length. I'm 6'1 and weigh 184, the jacket arrived and fits me exactly the way I wanted it to. Unless I get caught in a downpour I'm not doing anything to this jacket like getting it wet or throwing it in the dryer. After paying almost $500 I want this jacket to just age on it's own. I may throw a little dirt on it for pics but that's going to be it.

Would 44T work or should I get 46T? I'm more on the slim side.

My 44-T fits fine (I do need to loose some to zip her up comfortably ). Like I said, next time I will get the tall with the option of extra tall sleeves since I would like mine longer. Call G&B and ask for Travis. He is the one who told me that they can make the sleeves longer. Good luck!

Thanks, it's good to be here. Can anyone let me know the differences between the lamb & the goat. I'm partial to the goat, just wondering if it will look the same? I know the lamb is very smooth. Does the goat have the same texture? Thanks again.
