well I just happened to be looking at it today in Physics and noticed that it has a number 36 burned into the leather.. and i mean it is IN the leather.. not something that someone drew on.. or even scratched in.. it has to be from a hide supplier.. or maybe it was on the original horse...I thought it was cool.. i`d try and take a pic.. but you need just the right lighting to see it..

Btw..for those of you wondering.. i never did get a response to that e-mail i sent to wested.... i guess it's just one of those things i`ll have to live with.. ( the pockets not this..)

Wow, CJ, you just can't win with these jackets, can you? I can't believe you didn't get a response from Wested! And what's with the number 36? Is it big? Where does it appear on the jacket? -GCR

Wheres quality control these days?!
A brand mark is a considerably weaker part of a hide (unless it was frozen in, which is common in horses) I cant believe wested did not catch that!

Hey, Raiders took place in 1936, if it's in an inconspicuous place, that's sort of cool. 'Blues
