Would anyone be interested in splitting a set of Ark Cherubs w/ me, I believe he quoted me $375 for a set. So almost $190 for an unfinished cherub. I was going to have it gold plated, maybe electroplated, but i just want one. PM me if you might be interested.

I sent steltercreative an email and was told that the props they sell are for "scenic clients" (whatever that means) and that they are not available to the general public. I am a noob here, so why are they listed as a vender where you can buys props from?

agent5, how about sharing some details about your experience? That way you are being fair to the vendor and helpful to those of us that are thinking about where to take our business.

There's so many people offering props out there and some of the props are just plain awful and no way near the pics you see on their website, some vendors just don't deliver the goods. How about a warning list of some sorts where people can tell about their experiences? I'm not thinking about making a public spectacle out of every vendor that slips up but it's my experience that many people get burned the same places. Just a thought.

That sounds like a great idea that would undoubtedly help alot of people choose wisely. Unfortunately, I have no real prop, clothing, or gear buying horror stories... just personal preferences that would now change the way I would make those purchase decisions. If anyone would like to share their own personal experiences with a vendor that shipped something very different than what was advertised as being sold, feel free to list them in a new thread. Remember to keep things factual not emotional would help, as would showing photos of what you received versus what was pictured on their website or post as being for sale. The list could be edited down or re-posted once all the conversation about each bad purchase had filtered out and a list of sketchy vendors remained. Any listed vendor would be welcome to answer the challenge with their own evidence or details of the transaction in question. At the very least, the list would provide negative feedback that might make the potential buyer ask more questions up front. At best, hard earned money would be saved.. which is very important to all of us. If handled properly, this could be very helpful, so thanks for the good idea K. Ken

This is Jeff from Stelter Creative, yes please Agent5, tell everyone how I ripped you off and why to stay away??? As for selling props, I do when I can, I am usually swamped with my larger scenic jobs and cannot fill orders quickly. I keep the props on the site for reference of what we can do, once in awhile we will get someone who REALLY wants something and then we try to accomodate. Sorry if this confuses some. Jeff
