I just wanted to share a few pics of my props. My AB, The Ark Bible page and Sankara cloth: The Grail Diary, packaged diary and the Sankara stone are my own, the Grail cup is one of Blackthorn Rose's and is being repainted, the Cross is from the RPF. The whip is an IOAB and the sandbag is my own. The Ra Headpiece is from that auction site. The figures at the bottom are from Hobby Lobby. The Grail Tablet is my own. Its made from polyurethane foam. Detail of the grail tablet. Enjoy. If you have any questions just ask. -Anthony

I agree...very nice job on the grail tablet! The rest of your display looks great as well, it's just not as often that you see a grail tablet. Congrats on a great job, Ken

Thanks for the kind words guys. The Grail tablet took about 3 weeks to do. As I said it is made from polyurethane foam, which is stronger than the polystyrene Home Depot pink insulating type. This stuff doesn't scratch or damage easily like the pink stuff will. The bulk of the time came from carving the text. I used just a metal stylus and toothpics after I transferred the characters to the foam from a pattern. Shaping the foam was done with a little sandpaper and a small hacksaw blade. I painted the tablet with a faux sandstone spray paint and acrylics to give it some additional texture and some color variation. The best part is that the whole thing weighs in at about 3 lbs so there is no fear of it falling off the wall and shattering. -Anthony

Nice setup. I like the neat and simple display. Sometimes simple is much, much better.
You live in the same town as PrettyBigGuy from cow. Only about 45 minutes from me.

Man, that's a really cool little setup you got going there. I'd like to someday get some prop pieces like that myself but right now I have nowhere to display anything anyways.

Thanks again everyone for the comments. The shelving unit is just a corner shelf that I got from IKEA a few years ago for about $50. I think they still make it if anyone is interested in them.
