Oh man...I am so freakin' jealous!!! That thing looks awesome, Kap!!!! The distressing brings out so much character in the leather and really makes it look spot-on to the film holster. Nice work! I have GOT to get me one of these soon! -GCR

Thanks a lot Griff! My trick was that when the holster was wet, I sat down and watched a movie with it next to me. During the entire length of the movie I made random fingernail marks all over it without looking. It looked pretty weird to my girlfriend...but she didn't say anything. She just doesn't ask anymore. ;D

Is the leather of the holster stiff or flexible? Any chance of some shots of the holster with the other gear for color reference and comparison? Oh, and since you've actually got an Indy gun that is "range-worthy", is it safe to assume this holster will be seeing a decent amount of duty? If so, be sure and let us know how it holds up! -GCR

Thanks gentlemen! Random fingernail mark distressing, eh? That's a new one! ;D It sure came out great, though! How's the fit for the S&W, anyway? Is the leather of the holster stiff or flexible? Any chance of some shots of the holster with the other gear for color reference and comparison? Oh, and since you've actually got an Indy gun that is "range-worthy", is it safe to assume this holster will be seeing a decent amount of duty? If so, be sure and let us know how it holds up! -GCR My indygun is currently a .38 special and it's pretty loose in the holster. The muzzle touches the end cap, but there is a lot of room on top even with the strap at its tightest. Maybe this would change with a larger chambered .45...I'm not sure because the .38 fits perfectly in my Todd's Dlx with no room to spare. The looseness isn't a problem really except it makes for more holster wear on the finish of the gun. I'll be sure to post some pics of the holster with other gear soon. A for it seeing a lot of duty, I'll be keeping my model 10 in there all the time now, but I rarely get out to the firing range these days, and since I wouldn't have many friends if I wore it around town.... ;D I'm not sure how much field use it will receive. But it will always be close by and ready for any Egyptian Nazi stooge swordsman attacks I might encounter.

Andy, you did a helluva nice job on that holster I love the fingernail stripes in it. Resembles my back ;D Regarding the fit, the AB holster is made to hug a N-Frame tightly, so there might be a little more room when using a K-Frame. However - looking at the last picture - it certainly doesn't look out of proportion with a K-Frame neither Regards, Marc
