Just thought I would post a few pics of the New Adventurebilt Holster alongside my Todd's Deluxe Holster. Both are extremely nice. Top be honest there is nothing negative that I can say about either one. The Adventurebilt is a thicker yet softer leather. It is just a little larger than the Todd's which is great for me because it fits my .357 Mag. Colt Python blank fire better. My Todd's is a bit different color than when I first bought it because I did a little distressing to it. Also the AB Holster is dyed all the way through whereas the Todd's is not. Great comparison pics, G-MANN! Thanks for taking the time to work this up! I love the look of both of these holsters, but I have to say I prefer the AB holster going by these pics alone. The Todd's Deluxe still looks great, though! Whatever distressing you did to that TD Holster sure came out great! Thanks again for posting these! -GCR

Thanks for the comparison G-MANN! I have a todd's deluxe as well, and I have an AB holster on it's way over the pond. I was wondering if there were any differences other than the obvious ones. So I appreciate the pics. Your todd's distressing is way way better than mine. I just filled my holster up with pecard boot oil and it turned BLACK!! The AB looks like it will work out nicely.

Great comparison shots of both holsters John! I think both designs are great and I love the weathered look you added to the Todd's Deluxe holster as well. Ken

Thanks John, nice to see a comparison between the two. I must say that I'm surprised taht there's that much difference in size The AB holster holds a 38 k-frame nicely but the N-frame it bigger. I have two 44 magnum N-frames (replicas) on route in the mail and once the modification (to that coveted 1917 hand ejector) it done I'm going to see just how snug the N-frame fits in it. Thanks John. Todd delux mor close to the "real" holster Hmmm... I'd have to disagree with you there. Aside from the distressing work on the Todd Deluxe (and I will admit, distressing is essential to getting any piece of gear to look more like the "real deal") I think the overall size and design of the AB holster fits better with what is seen on screen. Then again, there aren't a hell of a lot of clear screen-caps of the holster, so maybe I'm wrong...but looking at the screencaps I can find, I'm leaning more towards the AB myself, as far as "screen-accuracy" goes. -GCR

I dunno.....in some of the scenes the holster looks bigger and in others it doesn't.
I honestly don't care either way. As the comparison pics show both holsters look damn good and I wouldn't mind owning either one.
Of course I don't own a real gun so I think for right now I'm going to stick with the budget gun holster. Actually, I'm considering buying the newer version Todd has available now. I really like that.

In my humble opinion I think the AB holster looks like a LC hybrid with a raiders holster. The Todds deluxe looks very similar to the Keppler holster which is modeled after a screen used one?
