Hey canyon, Nice holster, as far as that sticky residue, you might try a fine scuff pad, or sand paper. just lightly dust the surface to try and remove the residue. Just be gentle otherwise the paint may come off. I mean gentle pressure for sure, and if you wanted it to look weathered just apply more pressure. if that doesn't work try using some heat, from a blow dryer. it could just be that the paint hasn't cured completely. anyway just trying to help. Oh and I'm sure using the scuff pad or sand paper method is going to leave the paint looking somewhat dull, just a warning. I guess it just depends on the look your going for. Sincerely, Prof.Wex

Nice holster you have there, Canyon! I've got to say that I have always liked the looks of Todd's holsters. Great looking product at a great price! That's weird about the residue on the gun, though... What sort of gun is it, anyway? Is it a rubber (resin) prop gun, a non-firing metal replica, a blank-firing gun, a genuine deactivated firearm or a modified toy gun? -GCR

Todd's basic holster is a a great deal and seems to be a little more your size Canyon. Of course, your size is a bit smaller than most male adventure seeking types... Ken

Looks nice, Stella. Post some pics of your gun soon and we'll see if we can't get that fixed up for you.

Very Nice Canyon Glad to see you got a better fitting holster. As far as the paint, it sounds like you must have used a gloss enamel which has a LONG drying time. Perhaps time will solve the problem. Cheers, John

That's a nice looking gun. whatever it's made of. Based on the photos you posted, I would say that John hit it on the head with the slow drying paint thing. Then again, John does know a thing or two about paints..... and hopefully not about being sticky for long periods of time. Ken

The gun is not rubber, its made of some kind of metal and has a shiny coating on it. Todd's basic holster is a a great deal and seems to be a little more your size Canyon. Of course, your size is a bit smaller than most male adventure seeking types... Ken Heheh. ;D That's a nice looking gun. whatever it's made of. Thanks Ken! I think the gun looks much better in black than in grey. Also, I think im going to have to take off this stuff and get something else.
