After getting a chance to see GManns Dark Brown Lambskin Expo in person(thanks John ), I decided I had to get one of these for myself. After buying Gmanns jacket, and realizing it would never fit me, even if I lose another 30 pounds(my shoulders are too broad), I had to regrettably return it. I absolutely love the way the lambskin feels on the G&B jacket. It's incredibly soft, yet feels alomost as strong as my Wested goatskin. Incredibly light, and amazing drape. I figured I would use the money refunded from Gmann, and the funds from my recent Wested lamb sale, to order my very own G&B in my size. It was a pricey move, but I feel in the long run it will be well worth it. I will post some pics as soon as I get it, hopefully within about 3 weeks. 'Blues P.S. Don't worry, I still love my Westeds, and I plan on ordering a Wested WotW jacket. Just have to decide on what leather. 'B

Congrats man! Sorry to hear that it didn't fit you, but glad to see that you really liked it. I look forward to seeing photos of your Expedition, when it arrives. Ken

Thanks Ken! I can't wait. I talked to GMann last night, getting the full scoop about his G&B buying experience, and their customer service. Here's to hoping for a great experience, and jacket. 'Blues

OK, this update was a long time coming. I got my brand new G&B Expedition about 3 weeks after ordering. Pretty great turn around time, and great customer service. Sad thing, due to my weight loss, it was a size too big. It had to go back to G&B.
I had to wait about another 3 weeks after they received it, and I got my replacement in a size 46. I nervously I opened the package, and gave her the once over. Beautiful leather, and the smell,...to die for!! It was a perfect grain throughout the jacket, nice and even. The size 48 I returned was a bit mismatched, with smooth grain on one side of the chest, grainy on the other. I relayed that to the sales rep, and she told me she would talk to the cutter, to get me a nice even hide.
Well, it was perfect in every way, fromt he looks of it. Now the big test,..to try it on. Fit like a glove!!! Which is odd, considering it is a jacket, lol. The fit was amazing, and the look and drape superb. I cannot rave enough about this jacket. Unfortunately, I have to wait to post pics, because the collar needs some shaping. Being a brand new jacket, it kind of sits strait up, not laying on the body. I will post pics A.S.A.P.
So, if any of you are in the market for a G&B, make sure you ask for Amy Garcia. She was a pleasure to deal with, and even called to confirm I got the jacket, and was happy with it. Cheers 'Blues

Excellent news, Blues! As for pictures, would it be possible to show a few with it "unsettled"? I think it's a big plus for people to see the jacket in its just opened form to understand that even the right jacket doesn't look "instantly Indy" and might fit a bit "new" at first. Congrats, either way! I'm really envious!

OK, here are the pics. Excuse the slight angle, my wife takes some crooked pics,...unless it's me that's crooked, lol. I'll try to take some better ones, after it breaks in a bit. Notice the collar is still a bit "stand-up" right now. I'm working on forming it. 'Blues

;D I know how you feel. I do better when I set the timer and take the pics myself. I've tried to let my wife take some gear pics but that was a disaster. ;D I'd love to own one of those jackets myself someday but right now they're just to dang expensive for me.

IndyBlues, you have one of those "what you lookin' at?" expressions going on for sure. The jacket is looking great, even new... and I got up on my little soapbox about the Expedition and it's great features over in the "jacket squirreling" thread. Rather than not repeat, I will just say that I'm glad you got what you wanted, and it looks sweet! Nice to see more photos of you as well, and you definitely have the Indy stubble thing down perfect as well. Ken
