Does the catwoman( straight handle) have the same stiff transition as the Indy 4 whip ... Anyone?

I doubt it. I know its a stiff transitiom but if it were like the indy 4, itd be like throwing a stick around. Not a whip...

Yeah the transition for the Catwoman whip isn't bound anything like the Indy 4 whips. The Catwoman whips have a longer handle which gives you a certain amount of leverage. The reason the Indy 4 whips are bound so tightly is to make up for the fact that the Indy whips have a shorter handle. By binding the transition in this way, you gain leverage which helps when performing multiple throws, while still retaining the look of the shorter handle. Anthony Delongis trained Harrison Ford more effectively than Glen Randall did for the first 3 Indy movies. Sadly, there was barely any whip use in Crystal Skull. Hopefully that will be remedied in Indy 5.
