So who was it that I outbid with 10 seconds to go? Surely one of the community... Sorry about that. I'll post some pictures here when it arrives.

I have one too; it is a very strong hat. Mine is around 5 years old and I have never had an issue yet. Its been soaking wet too; not good for it of course, but it sure did hold up.

UUUUGH.
Got caught in a down pour yesterday in my new hat and the felt discolored!
Googling turns up a couple of discussions of others having the same problem with the FedIV Deluxe. One person suggested misting the hat with some water-- that doesn't seem to have made a difference-- it still looks splotchy and awful. Any ideas?

I just ordered my first "big" buy for an Indy hat. Can't afford a Penman or an AB, so I got myself a Federation IV. So excited!
I head out to the mountains here in Georgia at least twice a year and can't wait to get a bit of dirt on it.
I have been researching how to put a bash into my new hat when it arrives. I actually, knowing I am I the minority, love the temple hat more than most others. Not sure how I will do the pinch or even the crown. I know I don't really like the tear drop look of course.
