They're not good whips. They don't even make suitable props ( the one that is labeled as indiana jones style has nothing characteristic of an indiana jones whips ). Honestly I'd rather have a jrzjoe whip than one of those...

It really depends what reasonable price would be for you. If you can give a budget I/we can try and find the best whip to suit it.

Yeah, they are that bad. They may save you a whole lot of money, but not only do they have nothing in common with an Indiana Jones style bullwhip, those are likely filled with a rope core.
You're better off saving up a bit more and investing in an affordable, and functional, Indy whip. There are many very affordable, and honest vendors here that make exceptional Indy whips. Just surf around the site a bit.

Are you wanting to crack the whip, or is it just a show piece?

Sorry, you probably couldn't find a well made nylon whip for that much, much less leather. Keep saving, it's well worth it.
Oh, and don't look at whip making as a way to get a whip. Unless you're actually wanting to learn whip making, it's better to just buy a whip. You'll spend at least twice as much as a well made leather whip before you can say you've made a decent whip, and emphasis on at least.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

They're ok, I've heard too many stories of things going wrong ( and have had a few requests for repairing them, so I've seen pictures ) so that I don't recommend them for cracking. They are great costume whips, but they're not made to be cracked.

Don't let the money discourage you. If you can wait, your best bet is to take your time and save your money. Keep doing your research on whip makers and styles to see what you like best. Watch YouTube videos to see how different whips by different makers handle. If you're really serious about getting into whip cracking, my advice would be to do your research. Choose a style of whip you like. Save, save, save. When it comes time to make your purchase, not only will you feel the satisfaction of having earned the perfect whip for you, but you'll have a quality tool to learn the really addicting sport of whip cracking.
Originally I bought a cheap whip when I got into collecting Indy Gear. I wasted a lot of money on cheap leather whips. Money I could have invested in a high quality whip. I say, if you're serious about learning your way around a whip, save your money and invest in a good tool to start.
Stick with it! You'll be glad you did!
Hope this helps.

Glad to be of help.
Trust me when I say it will be worth the wait. I don't personally own one of Dusty's whips, but I've heard nothing but great things about him and his products. Plus you can look up video reviews of his whips in action on YouTube. Very accurate looking Indy whips, and they roll out very, very nicely.

Which ones are you looking at?
I know that some of them are made by Paul Nolan ( great whip maker ) but they are priced pretty high because one, you tend to get them right away instead of having to wait and two, they are sold from Paul, to WSP, then to you.
They also have some whips that aren't any good, it just depends on which you're looking at.

That first one you showed isn't great.
The second one is actually better than the first. The white lines don't necessarily mean bad. For instance it could be plaiting soap seeping out of the leather ( not too uncommon ). It could also be the type of leather used. Some cowhide leather that is dyed a certain way shows up like that.
I still recommend for your budget one of Dusty's whips at CNC.

Considering I make my own whips, no I don't, but they look great and I've seen a few videos on them, they crack great. Here's a review done on a couple of them: www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6fHUazWt6Ewww.youtube.com/watch?v=opD2_NVNBQk
