Hello everybody! For those of you who are regularly in the bullwhip section, you know me. For those who aren't,
hello, my name is Jeremy McEachern, I've been making whips about a year now, and have enjoyed every second of it. I was
just today granted vendor status, and thought I would put up a general information thread about my whips.
First of all, my whips are kangaroo. I make them, unless otherwise requested, with a leather core, 2 kangaroo
plaited bellies, and two leather bolsters ( kip or cowhide, and on certain occasions, kangaroo, this depends on
what I have at hand, and what will best suit the whip at that time ). Finally this is all covered with a kangaroo
overlay, consisting of, for right now, 8 , 12, or 16 strands. All the knots, wrist loops, and anything plaited, is in
first grade kangaroo leather. Any leather I use is good quality, I don't use cheap stuff.
For right now, I only offer bullwhips. I can make all the Indy styles, Australian styled, and American styled. They
are fully customize-able to what you want, and I currently am offering them at a much lower price than you would
find for similar whips. Also, these whips aren't made to be wallhangers, they are completely functional and crack
VERY well. They make a nice looking wallhanger, I'm just saying that's not what I make them to be. They're
built from the core up, to be used!
The regular prices go for single colored, standard style whips. Standard style is regular indy whips ( movies 1-3 )
, basic american styled and basic austrlaian styled whips. For a young indy whip, or a Crystal skull styled whip,
which either take more time, more materials, or a mixture of the two, cost an extra $50 on top of the price listed
below. If you have any questions about what the difference between all the different styles of whips, just pm
me or email me ( email will be shown at the bottom of the page ).
Standard colors are natural tan, saddle tan, brandy, and black. Natural tan is kind of a biscuit color, saddle tan is
a light brown with a reddish tint to it, and brandy is a dark brown that looks almost black indoors, but the brown can
be seen under natural light. Other colors can be gotten, but they may cost more, depending on a few variables.
Also, the colors other than black will slowly darken throughout their life.
