Anybody have these? I have two pairs. Here's the question: Does anyone here know how to get those irritating everlasting creases out of them??? There has to be some way to do it. I would appreciate any advice at all. Thanks!

I have a pair of these. I've heard some people have luck with ironing them out, though I never tried. They were intended to be my Indy pants until the great, long lost "Oak Creek" close-enough pants came into the picture. I liked them so much that I began wearing the LL Bean's for regular uses. They are very nice pants.... with very strong creases!

Kap, I've got a pair that I have worn the hell out of. The zipper is broken, some buttons are missing and there are a few stains here and there (I obviously don't wear them anymore). These pants are almost 4 years old, and despite 4 years of washing, wearing and IRONING LIKE HELL, they still have those damn creases. I have begun to believe the creases are magic, and cannot be defeated by mortal means... ;D Best of luck -GCR

Ken ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Seriously though, I have no clue when it comes to fabrics or weaving or garment making or whatever the hell you call it, but I think the creases in the L.L. Bean pants are permanent. I think they are made that way and simply can't be undone no matter how much you iron them or steam them or whatever. It's like they're woven into the fabric or something (or magic, like I said above...whatever makes more sense ) -GCR

It does seem as though some kind of magic process was used to create the creases in some pants I've owned over the years. It's almost like the "One ring to rule them all", which was forged from the fires of Mount Doom and could only be destroyed in the same fire. Maybe LL Bean has the ability to "decrease them" with this magic. Or should I consider therapy? Wait, don't answer that. I didn't.Who didn't? Me/You.Who is this? Your "other" side.Umm... ok. I'm placing the call to 1-800-Doc-Nick right now. Good luck with those creases. Ken

;D ;D ;D Thanks guys! I think I'll just buy some creaseless pants instead of tempting the evil spirits that live inside the creases of my LL Bean chinos. Thanks for the advice.

I had the same thing when I received my Noel Howard pants. You've just gotta get your iron and iron out those creases, big time!

Actually, with the Noel Howard pants being wool and the LL Bean's being cotton, they are quite different in how they hold a crease. It would be much easier to get a standard crease out of wool than it would a "perma crease" out of cotton the thickness of the LL Bean pants.

Ken's right...trust me, ironing does NOT work! At least not with the L.L. Bean pants, anyway. I have had luck with other cotton pants over the years, but not the L.L. Bean "super, everlasting, magic perma-crease". I'm telling you, those creases will survive the apocalypse... -GCR

You mean you don't find pants with only a waistband and creases left, to be very functional?
