So, I'm brand new on the board but have been lurking for a while. I made the decision to spend the next 7 months putting together my Indy gear, and made the plunge with What Price Glory's repro MKVII bag. He's got a few on e-bay right now, and after all the months of reading and research, I'm very happy with the bag. And he shipped it incredibly fast!
I'll post pictures soon, show some of the finer details to the bag. Anybody else own one, and if so, how does it hold up with age?

Congratulations with your first piece of gear I have a WPG repro bag myself - it's quite nice. What I like most about it is that the main-compartment of the bag isn't seperated into two compartments (like it is on the originals), that makes the bag more useful for everyday use. The only thing I really don't like about the WPG repro bags is the strap - by my opinion (being a leatherworker myself) it's utter crap. /Jakob

Yeah, not too fond of it either. I'm also a leatherworker, and I was going to set about making my own using the hardware. What they sent seems really thick.
This has become my daily bag as well, replaced an old Isralie paratrooper bag I've used for about 5 years. Plenty of storage!

I own one and later ordered a deluxe strap from Todd's costumes. I was very satisfied with the product. Welcome to the lounge bro! Blake

So, took off the crappy strap on the WPG bag (the bag is great, the strap isn't) and got out my leather working gear and put together a custom strap in about 20 mins. Went real uneven with the dye job to give it that more "lived-in" feel. Used the buckle from the WPG strap, sealed in and gave it a coat of mink oil, and there you go, finished bag. And I've been using this bag non-stop in my daily work. Great "man-purse" as my wife likes to call them, though she knows not to say that about the Indy bag. At least I have that! Pics below (the buckle is silver, just looks gold because my camera sucks. The strap is a lot darker too, not so red.)

I have a bunch of these bags and love them. Original or remake it is a fantastic piece of kit. Actually remake has the advantage of being new canvas. One of mine is so old the canvas has rotted out. Congrats and welcome. Canada
