I was going through the catalog from "The Territory Ahead" and found some really nice Indy style boots: www.territoryahead.com/jump.jsp?itemID=3254&itemType=PRODUCT&RS=1&keyword=190493This is just a teaser thumbnail to get you to click the link above. Ok, actually.. the full size images are zoomable ones in Flash, so I can't link them as a picture. The style is very Alden like and certainly close enough for most nitpicker types. They cost $125, are already worn in looking, and have no hint of red to them, which is a good thing in my book. Just sharing for anyone interested, Ken

Yes great find indeed. The only thing is, that little crack in the middle of the toe. I have found a few good-enoughs around, but they would always have that darn crack in the middle. For some reason it always turned me off to the shoe. Other than that, I like them lots. Just say no to crack! ;D Blake

Very nice find indeed, Ken!!!!!! These look great! I have to agree with Blake on the seam down the tip of the toe...but considering that's barely noticeable and how close these are to the Aldens otherwise, it doesn't bother me much at all. I've already got a good pair of "close enough" boots, but I wouldn't mind another. Of course, I don't have an extra $125 lying around, and even if I did, I'd probably put it towards an AB Deluxe Holster or one of Todd's Jackets. Still, I'll have to keep my eye on these boots, on the off chance I get lucky on a scratch-ticket or something. ;D For those out there who are still trying to find a good Indy-style boot to complete their outfit, I wouldn't hesitate to jump all over this deal. -GCR
