That is definitely one of the best renditions of the Jacka Indy 4 whip I've seen.

The color is actually more of a reddish latigo color. It's really hard to capture it under indoor lighting.
As for accuracy I have studied the look of the Jacka Indy 4 whips for quite some time to develope this one as close as possible. In the movie KOTCS I noticed right away that some thing was different about the whip besides the dark knots of course. However the thing that sticks out most in my mind is how that whip was standing almost straight up in the air when Indy crashed through the truck wind shield in the wearhouse. I'm sure it handled well but it must have been hard to wear it from his belt through out the production. I wonder if he carried a dyed Morgan or a Strain for alot of the non whip scenes.
Thanks for the compliments, -Dusty

I know that Anthony Delongis conditioned the whips prior to them filming with them so that they could coil them up easily on the whip holder and subsequently hang them on the leather belt. According to the Indygear website in the bullwhip section Anthony talks about having spent "delightful countless hours" putting muscle memory into the whips so that they would form the loop early and crack easily.
