Hi Guys, I don't know if I have to be worried or just curious about the end of this 10ft raiders. I made this whip to a Italian tanner customer who will want give a really aged look. Once he has finished the tanning proces, this whip will be hanging on the wall. He also told me that when he has finished the tanning, he sends this whip to me. I'll be curious to see significant changes in terms of color, strength and tone. Thanks g

I'm not sure I follow what you are asking. Is he simply dying the whip or artificially aging it?

Hi, this whip will be tanned by a tanner to simulate aging look. I'll post the photos after the treatment.

Personally, I think the whip looks beautiful as it is. However, I'm interested to see how it comes out. Never heard of anyone re-tanning leather after it has been made into something.....

I've never heard of the process of re-tanning leather either, that's why I was confused. I think the whip looks great as is, but it will be interesting to see the results of this.
