sizing and shoulder width

Hi thank you for seeing my post, im concerned about the gibson and barnes expedtion jacket, im ordering the size 38 TALL and im wondering, if the shoulders will fit, i have 21 inch shoulders.

i know kind of a silly question but its been bothering me, if you guys have any input it would be appreciated.

If you were standing in a 21" wide doorway wearing a shirt , and your shoulders touched on both sides , then a size 38 is way too small . My favorite leather jacket is a size 42R , and the width at the top , with the
zipper closed , from shoulder seam to shoulder seam , is 21" . Ask G&B
to give you that width measurement from 2 or 3 different sizes , then
you will know for sure .
