I'm just happy I could help! How long did you make the shot bag? Also, for future reference, you might want to make the belly shorter, here's the reason why. You have 4 strands at the end right? Well you can do a tapered twist to continue to taper of the whip, even past the belly, or you can just cut the strands off at different lengths. Here's what i meant by tapered twist, and the video sort of explains what you want to do as well : Great work, I'm glad it's going better!

Also did you take the filler strands out of the paracord? It looks to me like they are still in which is why I'm asking.

The shot bag is around 30 inches. Your correct sir I did not remove them. I hadn't actually planned on making a whip, more so just practicing but it went so well I figured what the heck. Thanks again

Keep it up. Try and shorten all the internals a bit, it's a bit thick
towards the end.
I might have asked already, are you taking the filler strands out
of the paracord?

No I didn't want to bother with the cores since this was really just practice/ learning. I'm gonna order some flat nylon cord soon to make one to actually call a whip.

Don't bother with order something special. Just get nylon paracord, and take the cores out. Even if it's just practice I suggest you do so, because not only does it give a tighter, flatter braid, but if you get used to plaiting round lace, then go on to flat, it may change your technique to a degree, so as far as it depends on you, practice with what you plan to use .
