I'm going to order a web belt from Todd's in raiders brown with the steel buckle. The price is insanely good! I am curious about his belt sizing though. I wear a 34-36 size pant. Should I get the same size belt or the 38-40 size? Anyone have one? If so any info or review is welcome. I did a search but didn't come up with any pertinent results. Thanks in advance guys and gals! David

go with 38-40 so there's a little hang on the holster side and Todds holster belts you cant beat for the $$$ price and quality

I ordered my belt today! It's the first piece of Indy gear I've ordered. I ordered it two sizes larger than I wear so I can trim it down to precisely the look I want. I ordered the raiders brown with the steel buckle. Seems odd to get so excited over a belt but I guess it's what it's all about.

Cool! As a great Jedi once said you have taken your first step in a larger world. Thanks! I was gonna post some pics of me in all my stuff so far but I think I'm gonna wait till the belt comes in. I've also got my eyes on some boots and seriously considering pulling the trigger on them. But their origin will have to remain a mystery till I decide lol

New buckles start out shiny, but you can wear them in fairly easily with sanding (fine grit)..In the films, they were worn in, heavily distressed...But starting from a new one that's not hard to achieve....Personally, I like to buy them new and do the distressing myself...

I already bought one on ebay which was distressed, but then i looked at todds and saw it so shiny so wasnt sure what it should look like and was confused. So i watced Crystal skull and it seemed as if Fords was shiny as well but hard to tell. But the one i got on ebay the webbing colour seems really off as well. The web is like orange colour, really loud when i wear it. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Canvas-HARVEST-Military-WEB-Style-Belt-INDIANA-JONES-Metal-Buckle-41-x-1-1-4-/360484534039?pt=US_CSA_MWA_Belts&hash=item53ee8d7717I should have got the canvas wheat colour.

You can take the actual metal clasp off the belt though..I wouldn't worry about that..If the buckle is ok for you, that's all good....The one in the link you sent looks more silver than the gold version Indy had? But again, I don't think that's a huge issue when it's distressed anyway....
You can buy the web belt from several online stores..Magnoli would be the best for the colour and price perhaps...Wested are good for LC belt colours, and Todds carry them too...I'd recommend any of those....Web belts are cheap, and easy to find, but the "right" colour for Indy is a touch harder to get.....
Those retailers all carry the right colours...
