Well, I've been scanning the classifieds and ebay and some other sites for a used fedora and there seems to be a few for sale but not many in my size (60cm-7.5-23.5"). So I was wondering if a hat can be stretched to fit.
Any opinions are appreciated.

Yeah, to a certain point, a hat can be enlarged. How much? Safely about 1/2 to 1 size, with out damage. Wet the leather sweatband inside, put a hat retainer in it and put tension on the retainer to the desired width. Let the sweatband dry overnight and it should have stretched to the width that you want.

Thanks for the input sg4tune. I've seen several 59cm for sale and I need a 60cm so I would assume from your info that I could safely enlarge a 59cm to a 60.
Thanks again!
