Hey guys, just wanted to share with you a gear piece that I use daily. I made these from left over gear pieces. I chopped up a Todd's bagstrap, and used the left over D rings from my wested and U.S. wings jackets to make these. I use this everyday, I dont leave home without it. this keeps my keys from getting lost and keeps them from waiting my pants down, because they just hang inside my pocket. I dont know what to call them but, here ya go. Sincerely, Prof.Wex tools and material list:Scissors leather hole punch snap all tool setter hammer Leather strap line 24 snaps 5/18 inch post (brass) D rings or Key ring ps. These are very easy to make, give it a try..

Very Nice Wex. By the way the Whip Holder you made and sent to me worked fine. Very good fit for the 10 foot whip. Cheers, G-MANN

Pretty nifty setup you got there, Wex! I usually keep my keys in my jacket pocket, but since I don't wear a jacket in the summer, one of these dealies might come in handy. I might just try my hand at making one when I've got a few minutes. -GCR

Prof. Wex, That's a very cool combination of practical Indy style gear, IMO. It has the look of a whip holder and the everyday usability for carrying keys and such. It would even work for a clip on compass or small knife for hikes. That's actually a really great use for those D-Rings as well, since they look the part... just not so much on the jacket. Great idea... and thanks for sharing it with us, Ken
