can you spray starch on 100% wool and it not mess it up? I have just did some reshaping on my hat. I want to get it as rigid as I can within reason. I live in a small town with very little options so anything I can find at walmart would be good..thanks INDY fans!!

Im getting mixed reviews..some say its ok some say no and some say in small amounts.
I have the liner out of my hat..I wonder if I could spray it inside and that would help even more??

I did it to my old DP on the inside, the trick is to put a little on at a time to keep it from getting white build up on it. good luck

Thanks...but I went ahead and did it anyways before anyone replied. Had to try..OH and my hat looks pretty good. Well, pretty good to me for what it is..I mean, Ive never "shapped" a hat before in my life and never knew you could until a few days ago. IT at least looks a little more Indy..Cant wait to actually buy a good hat already blocked right..Will be a while though.. Everyone at the get together liked my hat..
