This is a difficult question to answer. I got one of these officially endorsed hats in 1983 as a present when I was a kid, but even then I knew that it just wasn't the hat I was seeing on the screen. I guess I should ask how old is your son and exactly how much of a fanatic is he for the Indiana Jones fedora?

I agree with Indyclone25 - sounds like any one of the hats you linked would work fine. I was over the moon when I got mine as a kid, and I wore it into the ground.

Most kids "crush" things pretty good (How old is he? Under ten and I'd agree with the crushable).. It means it won't "break" so quick.. Basically.. It can be folded, put into bags and packed, and smacked around in games.. I reckon that makes it a fairly good choice..
