Ken, I was looking at a bunch of these a few months ago as I am looking for a good Indy inspired laptop bag. No such luck with these since they aren't padded. Still, they are nice-lookin bags for their purpose.

Hey, I'm just glad to know someone reads these things! The cheap route is to add your own padding with foam from a cloth/hobby store. But, I can understand not wanting to worry about getting it right or not. It is a laptop after all.... Ken

Believe me Ken, I thought of that and was really considering it. I figured how hard could it be? But like you said, its a laptop. I want it to be correctly made and dependable. So I am still lookin for one that is Indy inspired or at least vintage-looking.

Hey RB, Just out of curiosity what web browser are you using? I just tried installing fire fox and i still get the same message, very bizarre if you ask me..Its only amazon that gives me this error. Maybe its Amazon and not my web browser. HMMP I really wanted to check out those bags.. Sincerely, Prof.Wex

I'm using Internet Explorer 7. I'm also using the XP Pro pop up blocker and have Norton Personal Firewall in place. So, it's weird that I can open them and others can't. I'll look at the links again to see if I can find an email version of them or something.

If all else fails, you can go to Amazon and search "messenger bags". There are a ton of results, and you should be able to find some you like with no problem. They have prices as low as $8.99 for some really cool looking canvas bags. Ken

Hey Guys, Strange as it may sound, I had to reinstall windows XP to fix my problem. I don't get what caused the error, but now all the links work just fine for me, and I'm still using MozillaFirefox. I know its a big step to completely wipe out all my personal files, but nothing bugs me more than knowing somethings wrong and not fixing it. So now, to the bags, I like the medical army bag, I think I'm going to order that one. Some of the other bags would probably be good for a laptop. I'm still looking at them trying to decide which ones I could use to carry my art supplies in. Sincerely, Prof.Wex

Man.... what a hard way to fix a problem like that, but I'm glad you were able to get past it. It would bug me too, so I can relate to you wanting everything to be working properly on your computer. Yeah, there are some nice bags for sale for cheap! I would feel violated if I had just bought some high dollar bag from the mall, after seeing some of these choices. Ken
