I'm not sure how many of you guys and gals are interested in a short sleeve Indy style shirt. But, while searching through their products online, I found this one at the Gap: www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=15084&pid=376827It's currently on sale for $14.99, so I felt I should pass it along in case anyone was interested. It's also fitted and the khaki color fits well with any of the rest of the gear for normal wear. Ken

That's not bad. At first glance though it reminded me of a shirt Steve Irwin would wear. I usually don't wear short sleeve button up shirts and when it comes to the Indy gear most of the time I have my sleeves rolled up anyway.....even under the jacket. ;D Still, it's a great looking short sleeve adventure shirt and you can't beat that price.

I sure am glad you guys post these awareness blurbs on different styled stuff. For no real certain reason today, I glanced at the clothes hanging on my side of the closet: Khaki pants Brown pants; brown pants; brown pants; khaki pants; brown pants; khaki pants......shorts; brown pants, jeans, khaki pants white shirt, off-white shirt, off-white shirt, white shirt, blue shirt, off-white shirt, NH, Wested, Wested, off-white shirt, Old Navy, off-white shirt, white shirt....... SUIT ::Phew!:: Off-white shirt......... Half of those are shirts from looking to get close-enough. I realized I NEED some colored stuff. These gap shirts are great cause they come in blue and black also. I have no money, but YEAH, I really need to be able to change up the wardrobe with stuff like this that has the spirit without the same color combo. Lately, I've also realized just how many shirts are loose and dumpy. So "fitted" is a buzz word for me. Thanks for posting these!

Just doing my tiny little part in this twisted play! I was just thinking about these short sleeve shirts myself, so get out of my head would ya? A short sleeve khaki shirt like this may come in handy for me, down in Florida... and you as well in Arizona, for that matter. When I posted this a few days ago, it was colder. Now that it has been warm again this past week, I'm thinking of the options a short sleeve shirt like this would give me. Fitted is a nice plus. I don't have the closet full of Indy earth tone colors like yourself yet, so khaki is still a welcome option for me. I guess if you live in the desert, it's best to blend in isn't it Tone? Ken

Well, it looks like this deal has gone away! I just checked, and Navy Blues is the only color left. The sizes are down to XS, S, & L.... so if you are interested Tone, you better jump on there and order up one of those XS ones right now. XS? Who wears that anyway? Are they outfitting puppets at the Gap or something? Ken

Yeah, I saw that. DOH! Dang it! I really could have used a few "non-white" shirts, too. I really need a break from the Khaki and off-white. LOL! Although, I don't see a problem with it being a default look, either. Yes, RB. Keep working on the earth tones. Rule of thumb: 17 pairs of same outfit means you should definitely stop at.......21. I hope these shirts come back around. They would still go nicely with a fedora.

My wife got two of these for me from a local Gap store. They had all the colors and at the same $15.00 price too. I got the khaki color shown above and the military greenish/blue color as well. Even though the online link seems to be broken from them, Gap still has these in the stores. Just passing along the info, in case anyone was interested. I can also post photos of the actual shirts being worn on a goofball if that helps anyone. Ken

You're going to cut and paste those shirts on one of my pictures just to show how they look? Honestly, it'd be great to see those on in a casual "Spirit of" setting with the fedora. Congrats on those shirts!

Thanks Tone... I decided to go with a genuine goofball for these shots, but will be glad to keep you in mind for future efforts. Note the traditional catalog stye "contemplative" poses in these shots. It almost looks like I have something really important on my mind. Yeah... like that's going to happen . Though these are wrinkly style shirts, they have not been washed yet. Straight from Christmas packaging to my back, extra wrinkles and all. Ken

Even though I'm not a big short sleeve shirt fan I've got to say those are very nice and I really like the blue color on the one shirt.

They're too wrinkley. They look like they're right out of the package. Of course, I've only read as far back as Pitfall's last post so I don't know..... Yeah, those are nice. I really like the changeup on the color, too. Those shirts go with the fedora quite well.

The shirts are still available in th stores... just not online. My wife bought mine in a local store and there was plenty of stock and two additional color choices.
