Confused about the different jackets, please help!

I'm looking for a real good looking Indy jacket. I see there are so many places claiming to be selling the best one.

My question is which is the best place to get an authentic looking Indy jacket?

There is no such thing as a best jacket. It's all opinions.

If you live in a very hot place (like I do) or you want authenticity, go with Lambskin.

If you want a jacket that's tougher than Lambskin, go with Goatskin.

Of course, you could splurge and buy one of each. (maybe even two of each) There's no reason why you can't buy more than one.

G&B is accurate in most places, and the only changes made were made for durability. G&B has a lifetime warranty, not that you'll need it.

Todd's Jacket is the cheapest Prop-Accurate jacket out there. It's even $15 cheaper than some other slightly more expensive and astronomically less accurate Indy Jackets. Some people complain about its light weight, but others have testified that it is indeed durable.

Wested offers a great product at a great price. The only problem is their customer service.

U.S. Wings offers a variety of jackets, including an "Authentic" Raiders Jacket. Their Raiders comes in Striated Lambskin,
"Aged" Cowhide, Horsehide, and Bison Leather.

It depends on what your budget is. Tony Nowak Original jackets cost the most, upwards of $1,000. But they are excellent quality jackets and made by the same company that made the jackets for Crystal Skull.

G&B, U.S. Wings, Magnoli, and Wested are cheaper and still produce good jackets. Be careful ordering from Wested because their customer service isn't the best. But they do make some really nice jackets.

Todd makes great jackets as well. I have one and I think it's great for the price. It's the cheapest out there and is very accurate to Raiders, except for a few little details, which he will fix in his next run. It drapes just like it does in the movie. It's a light jacket, so it's good for warmer weather.

Goat is tougher than lamb. But lamb is SA for Raiders, TOD, and LC.

I say start at the top of the ladder and work down. Top of the ladders by far the Tony Nowak Originals. I have two, one
CS and a Raiderz. The Raiders was based off of a screen used jacket. It's spot on. The CS is of course the most SA because Tony made the jackets.
