New Close-Enough Indy Shirt

I just found this new close-enough Indy shirt at another site:

I saw this shirt last night but I wasn't to sure about it. You know I'm always looking for a good deal on "close-enough" stuff and the price is great I just don't know about the color. Does it look a little pink to you?

I kind of made up my mind a few days ago that when I get another Indy shirt it's going to be either a Wested or NH. Then this popped up and now I'm not totally sure what I'll do.

I think the color looks really good actually, and could easily be adjusted with some Rit dye if it's not in person. The material looks thin and light too.

Yeah, I thought the material looked really light too. I wonder if the color isn't a bit darker in person. I'd love to see the shirt under different lighting. The only thing it seems to be missing are the pleats going all the way down the shirt.

I would imagine though this is what Indy might have worn in real life during that period of time.

Ah, you know me. I'll probably end up buying one of these as well. ;D

It's probably a wee bit on the tan side, but man if that cotton doesn't look like the stuff! A really good "out and about" shirt to say the least. Definitely falls into a good, legit close enough (not meant to be the costume) shirt!

Funny how you look at the way the shirt material appears more than the color after the NH.

That looks like a British WWII Officer's shirt. I have one, the material is great, they are a little darker than what is shown in the picture on the website. Check around army surplus stores. They can usually be found (WWII & Korean War ear) for under $10.00.
