Pennsylvania--
I'll get on this and find out! Last I read, though, it's mostly a matter of who owns which scores, who's got the release rights to what, etc.
But! I will, of course, update once I know for sure either way.

Hey! Just popping back to say that there's a BIT of good news I can offer: the Ark and the Crystal Skull will both be a part of the exhibit, for those who had mentioned 'em. Cool news! I'd be interested in seeing the Crystal Skull.

"This first-of-its kind touring exhibition will be presented in twelve world-class institutions in Canada, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region." does this mean no USA tour?

Oooh, sounds like quite a cool exhibition But with only twelve destinations across the world, I'm guessing the UK one wil be London? Cos if so, I doubt I'd be able to reach it, what with travel costs just increased (*again*) and Lodnon being such an expensive place anyway Any more news could be fantastic Indyexhibit

THIS IS THE MOST BACKWARDS THING I HAVE EVER HEARD! Indiana Jones is a symbol of Americana..... TRAGIC. I think its great that it is going global BUT if it should be anywhere it should be HERE but skipping America, that is so Ridiculous.

Jedimastered is that who is putting it on? if so that makes sense. But now im convinced the end of the exhibit will turn into a flying saucer and whisk you into the inter-deminsional space between spaces. Only after you've been blown up by a nuclear bomb and only survived in a lead lined refrigorator. HAHA

"a symbol of Americana" - and just whereabouts is Canada located again...? AmericaRemember, the States are just one part of the American continent, the term 'American' doesn't just apply to someone from the US; just as "European" doesn't just apply to someone from The Continent (although I detest being called it, as a proud Englishman). Besides, you have static displays all over the US of Indy stuff, other people across the world don't That's why travelling exhibitions are put on - so people who wouldn't/couldn't normally see the contents actually get a chance to do so And at the end of the day, if it's so successful around the globe, they may stick on another few dates/locations in the US, or do another just for the home continent, you never know!

Sorry bud, but the only REAL Americans are the folks from the good old USA! thats why people from Canada are called, Canadians and people from Mexico are called, Mexicans
Technically they are North Americans not just "Americans" that title is for people of the USA only. I'm just one really proud American

There's no fight, I was just stating fact. And in our case, the fact is that in the UK we aren't technically 'European' as we're not from the continent of Europe; Canadians and Mexicans, on the other hand, are 'American', despite how much they may dislike the term, as they are indeed from the continent of America (North and Central accordingly) Anyway, back on topic - wonder if the exhibition will have any more info on the giant storage warehouse Indy has his stuff stowed away in?

The term American applies soley and specificialy to U.S. citizens as Buck stated. if you are from Mexico your a Mexican. and Canadian you are from Canada. Being from canada or Mexico doesnt make you american. And Indiana Jones isn't from mexico or canada. he's from the USA. try to come into the US and say your an american because your from Canada the border patrol will laugh at you. Put it this way- Lets say a Beatles exhibit was going on tour but it was skipping England. Indy is From America and should come here. Having said that EVERYONE EVERYWHERE should have a chance to see the exhibit. BUT stargate I'm a fan of yours because you like stargate and cant be all bad lol

OK, we'll just have to agree to disagree over this. I was just being silly with the technical stuff, and you're not understanding the joke, so I'll let it go But yes, I understand how disappointing this must be to all you folks in the States - it would be horrible for something like a worldwide Beatles exhibition to skip the UK As I said though, the organisers may yet put on a date or two in the US - the O.P. seems to be very open to ideas (think they're one of the organisers, right?), so why not just ask? I doubt they're skipping the whole of the US over some petty little thing like 'not liking America' ;D ;D Just a thought!

Stefana: You're right! Which is precisely why I'm trying to find more of them in the city! Are you a member of any local Indy/geek/cosplay groups? Hi, indyexhibition. Just signed up to this forum today and wanted to tell you that I'm also a born & bred Montrealer who has been living in Switzerland since 2007. Every couple of months I go back home and was just there for a month over the holidays. Do you work for X3 Productions? If so, I live very close to your office. Would love to meet up next time I'm in town! Very excited and proud that Montreal is the opening host city for the Indy Exhibit and I highly recommend you check out the forum called, The Raven. It's a very popular Indiana Jones forum and we have a thread there about the exhibit. Your input/updates would be extremely welcome. Please join! Is it coming to Japan? That's what I want to know...I can't get back to London to see it if it doesn't....LOL....And hell, Tokyo has the biggest concentration of geeks and cosplaying types in the world, so surely that counts for something right? Oh...And Flash, that should be "humoUr" then right? <ducks>

Well, not to elongate an argument, but humour is the UK spelling, and humor is the US spelling. So they're both right, depending on your nationality. Steven

Although it IS hard to be sarcastic online.... In my head the tone works... But online, a little less so... LOL.... (Steven, sorry mate, I was just winding you up with the last two comments... It's always fun to "correct" American English speakers... Just because I know perfectly well that it's not any more "right" than anything else, and yet always gets someone upset.... My bad...)
