Those Wested pants look great compared to the NH's. I agree, it's getting down to splitting hairs lately. Thanks for the pics, GMann, great reference shots 'Blues

G-Mann, thanks for posting these! I saw a pair of Westeds and Noel Howards stacked on top of each other last week and I couldn't pick one from the other. It's the same material. It made me wonder why there were so many reviews saying things like "The NH are sooo much better" when they are (in my opinion) the SAME color, same material, etc. I'm hoping the pant legs on the NH are cut differently and don't taper so drastically. If there's no difference there, what IS the difference? Oh, and deal of a lifetime missed for those who didn't jump in on the Oak Creeks. Just look at how close those "cotton" pants are next to the Wested and NH. G-Mann, do the NH fit better? Heavier?

Tone,
The NH and Wested are the same weight. I have not worn the NH pants yet as they still need to be hemmed up at the bottom.
As you stated the Wested and NH are Identical Fabric and color as far as I can see.
Cheers, G-MANN
I still have a New Pair of the Oak Creek pants in the bag for sale yet 38 x 31 $12.00

John, The comparison shots came out very nice! It is amazing how close the Oak Creek pants are to the real color. Even though they are cotton, I still think they very much look the part. Also, I have a pair of the LL Bean chinos in Sepia as well. After giving them a couple of dippings in Rit Pearl Grey, they lost some of that copper tone, and are closer to the actual color now. They are still not as close as the Oak Creek ones, but much better. I have dipped my Oak Creek pants in Pearl Grey as well, and I think it helped out too. Great job, and this should be very helpful to alot of people! Ken

Very nice comparison shots, those Oak Creeks were an amazing find. I hope they come back. My ones are slightly warmer in tone than my Westeds. And those pics show that the Westeds are very close to current NH's in look.

The copper tone of the Sepia's look the best in my opinion. Not so drab and military.
