I passed by a shoestore this weekend to measure my foot using one of those odd silver contraptions and the employee told me that my foot was a EEE. My foot is about 4.25 inches wide and I always figured I was an average width. I was measuring to purchase the new JCrew vintage work boots, but now, I am completely thrown off.

Man, I wish I could help you with this one Solo. I don't have a clue on how all of that stuff works. I've been looking at getting some different boots myself eventually and ordering something like shoes online and not screwing up the size is a big worry of mine as well.

You think you have problems? I'm a 4E. I can't find Indy boots to save my life.

Oh, you're talking about your foot. I saw triple E and thought something totally different. Now I'm kind of disappointed.

;D ;D You know.... I thought about posting something regarding the "Triple E" thing myself, but decided against it. I'm glad to know I'm not the only only one that thought it was funny. Ken

Sorry, GS. On a more serious note, I'm on the other end of the scale. I've got a long narrow foot. It makes it pretty hard to find a good fit unless I spend a small fortune. (i.e. Aldens)
