Since I now live in an area where it is legal to own a Handgun I recently picked these up. Not exactly Indy's guns but that's not what I was going for. Top is a Kimber Custom II .45ACP and Bottom is a S&W.38 Special Model 10 from 1962 [in near perfect condition]. Cheers, John

Indy or not, those look good! Let us know if you decide to get a S&W HE2 or M1917 and Raidersize them. Steven

very nice indeed, I am considering a 1911 myself. I think i'll get the hi-cap 1911 from rock island armory and slap on rosewood grips. the s&w is sweet looking as well, at least you won't have any issues with ammo, I have a Enfield no.2 mk.1 that's chambered in 38 s&w and the ammo is made seasonally, so i get as much as i can. I also have a luger .22lr, it's a sweet shooter.

Thanks guys. Ammo for these is all standard so no problems there.
I paid less than $300 for the Model 10 so I thought that was a great deal. Especially considering the condition.
Cheers, John

Beautiful pistol G-Mann and i would have to say the closest revolver one could get to a Raiders pistol without spending $1,000 and up on a S&W model22 or 1917 great find

CJ, I would have to agree on the S&W. Your Pro Carry looks very similar to my Custom II. One inch shorter. I really like Kimbers Covert Series but with a $1,600.00 price tag it is a little out of my league. Cheers, John

Those are some really nice heaters. I'm a 1911 man and carry one everyday. I love the revolver, too. It's very 'spirit of Indy' if not 100% screen accurate. And congratulations on moving to a part of the United States where law abiding people still have rights.

CJ,
Those are both nice. How many rounds does that Pro Carry hold? The Kimber website says 7 but the photo makes it look like it would hold more.
ModelMaker 4,
Those are both sharp too. Is that Enfield double action only?
Cheers, John

g-mann- the enfield is double action only, it's the tanker variation from WWII. The british designed it so the hammer wouldn't snag on the inner workings of the tank, or snag on the hatch if they were getting out.
c.j.- the enfield shoots very well, very little recoil because it has half the power of a 9mm, so the 38 s&w is a slow slug, but effective if you are a good shot. The i was able to shoot a clay pidgeon with the first bullet i shot out of it after i bought it, so it's pretty accurate.
when i bought it from cabela's , i had my eye on it for over a year because it sat in the gun library, and they had it marked as a webley mk.6, when i told them it was an enfield, they looked it up and changed it and lowered the price a few months before i actually bought it.
