Well, the Noel Howard shirt I ordered arrived. Actually the Post Office tried to deliver it on Saturday, but we missed them to sign for it. Anyway..... It's what everyone says it is, a wonderful shirt that screams Indy because... well, it really is Indy's shirt! Noel was a pleasure to communicate with via email, and made a size suggestion for me, based on measurements I sent to him (at his request BTW). He seems like a really nice fellow, and it was an added bonus, buying from the same man that made the shirts for the Indy movies. Material: Much lighter (weight wise) and more comfortable than the Magnoli Adventure shirt, even before being washed. If you like the Old Navy "Spirit of Indy" style shirts... you will also really enjoy wearing this one. The fabric feels very similar, and even has a bit of that same shimmer to it as well. The above photos were taken in natural lighting, and with the white balance custom adjusted to match the conditions. The color of the shirt is darker than the Old Navy shirt, since I was comparing it to that fabri-wise and because many folks here have one. I will, of course, take full gear photos outside with it later, but didn't have time this evening. I would recommend buying one of these shirts over the Magnoli offering any day of the week. I would have bought a Noel Howard shirt to begin with, but he hadn't started making them again at that point. Great color, great fabric, great transaction, and a great shirt! Ken

Wow.....that is a nice shirt. I didn't think Noel Howard was offering anything anymore. PM me later and let me know how much it was and how you got in touch with him.

Thanks much, although all I did was order one. Still, it is a nice shirt... I wish I would have been able to get one last year instead. Pitfall.... PM sent with the contact info. I don't want to post Noel's stuff until he says it's ok to do so. Tone... or should I call you, SVS? Just think, you would have had one of these babies by now too, if you hadn't usd the force and not given up your shirt size! Thanks again, and I look forward to taking new gear photos with all my improved gear in the fall. Ken

It's Schnitzel to you! Wow, sometimes using the force sucks! That is doubley very gracious and that sentiment is not lost on me. I'm saying thanks again for the spirit behind it all! Now.......unless we see some NH Indy shirt wearing pics, these others are just going to keep cropping up until we do.

;D I vote we keep getting pics like that regardless! Very funny Tone... and yeah, the dark side of the force can sometimes cloud our vision. Great photo! Ken

You've just opened the floodgates of BS, RagingBlues. Prepare yourself. ;D I could have worn it for Jim, who swung by to discuss Avatar. I may have goofed when I said, "Avatar? WTF is Avatar? You mean the web forum pictures?" "It's a movie, dork. Do you.....always dress like this?" "Like what?" "Indiana......Jones? It's just a hunch." I paused. "As a matter of fact, yes. Do you.......always take a 5 year hiatus between films?" "No, but then again, I'm rich, biawtch! Have to enjoy it sometime!" "Good. I noticed your convertible in the driveway. Mind?" "Don't touch my car." "Only be a moment." "Dressed like that?!" "Of course not. It's too hot. Need to put on a short-sleeve shirt. Be right back. Honey, come here!" "Don't wear that hat!" "So, this is your version of being low key?" "That's it. You're a freak." "I know. Remind me again, though. Battle Angel is going to be......?" "About two hours long. See you later." "GOOD! Thank youuuuuuuu! Hey, that beer was like $10.00 by the way, and I passed up an authentic Indy shirt this weekend, too! Next time you buy! Bye."

Hahahahah... ;D I like the pics, especially the dog! Maybe we can get NH to make it an authentic Indy shirt as well. ;D Hey, people dress their dogs all the time. No reason the dog can't have an AB, Wested and a whip along with the shirt. ;D

A suggestive Wested, at least. Too hot to dress them in anything but a bandana.

Too hot to dress them in anything but a bandana. Yeah, that's true.... When it gets hot like this that's all I wear is a bandana! ;D

That DOES look like THE shirt!!! And what I like most about it, it still does so after 25 years of NOT beeing modifyed Congrats Ken! Hope it'll hold up fine being washed over and over. But I guess for that price, you could have it replicated in the U.S. easily - now that you have THE shirt for reference... Regards, Marc

It took a fresh mind this morning (if you can call it fresh), to follow and "get" your story Tone. ;D That guy does look a little like James Cameron doesn't he KT? Say Tone, if you have friends like that, you ought to be in pictures my friend! The froofy drink pic has a bit of Sean Connery in it, and I can almost hear... "Pity you didn't get one theshe drinksh yourshelf. They're really quite refreshing". I still really love the expression on your dog's face, after being bathed "on the quick" like that! Marc, Many thanks! It's really a durable feeling shirt despite the light weight, and should go really well with my fantastic, forthcoming Adventurebilt Deluxe too! Ken

Thanks again, and I look forward to taking new gear photos with all my improved gear in the fall. Ken The Fall? (That's autumn to us in England). Man, I just can't wait that long! Tone, I love that first photograph! You look very handsome as always. I hope you don't mind, but I did some of my own modifying. I'm telling ya, you look straight out of a 1930/40's movie! Marc, Many thanks! It's really a durable feeling shirt despite the light weight, and should go really well with my fantastic, forthcoming Adventurebilt Deluxe too! Ken Awww, Ken. Now you're just showing off! ;D

KT, they're right. It's not James Cameron. It's me and Tom Hanks. ;D Ragingblues, that expression on Wigs' face is relief. They don't even flinch when we put them in there. Here's what the thermometer read yesterday. Canyon, thank you, ma'am. Of course I don't mind you modifying the pictures. (Not like I ever do it myself. That picture has a nice, vintage look to it now. (Back when Corona's were only .15 a bottle.) Then again, Corona wasn't around back then. DOH! RB? Pics of the NH on coming? And WHERE'S THE MUSIC?!

Tom Hanks! ;D I know, I know... about the music. I will get it done, I just have too many irons in the fire right now. As one thing gets done, another two seem to pop up in it's place. It's like playing a real life version of "Whack a Mole" or something! Ken

Great shot John! Until now, I wasn't sure you were capable of smiling in a photo! Just kidding of course.... The shirt looks great, now that you finally took it out of the plastic. Just think how good it will feel after the first washing! They really are great shirts aren't they? Ken
