Though I plan to do a better one, here is a shot of my gear so far: For those who may wonder, Dark Brown Goat Wested on right - in new condition. Dark Brown Lamb Wested on left - distressed. Ken

Thanks guys! Yeah, I thought the challenge coins looked like a kind of artifact he might have recovered somewhere, so I threw them in. I also forgot to include my Indy novels, the DVD set, and of course... the light completely blew out my shirt! Oh well... this will give me a chance to take more photos! Like I need a reason to do that...... Ken

Yeah, the shirt has kind of disappeared, hasn't it? The coins do work as 'artifacts', don't they? On a side note, I'm very happy with how those turned out (even though it may have been a pain in the hiney on the process of getting them done.) So the "two jacket minimum" rule is in effect here, I see. One for looks, the other for trust. Great looking stuff, RagingBlues. I love what you did with that gun. IIRC, you modified that a bit? It's been hard to fend off the Artsee1 S&W HJ2 over here, lately.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I wanted a gun that would revolve when fired, have weight to it, and of course... be somewhat reasonably priced! It may not be an exact Indy gun replica, but it's awfully close... and well, close enough for me anyway. Ken

Thanks again! Yeah, John has been my unofficial supplier with great pricing on a few items. Once again, there are few people as generous as John, and I am constantly trying to find ways to return the favors. Capt. Zack, I think my gear won't be complete until I add something from Capt.s Zack's Supply Depot! Ken

I guess I didn't realize how much stuff you had! I need a gun, new gloves and some different boots plus some props like the headpiece or Idol.

Thanks man! If John took one of these, he would need an ultra wide angle lens! Like I said before, several of the items in my collection came from John, either as a gift or on an incredible deal. So, I wouldn't have things like the headpiece if it wasn't for John's generosity. We will all keep an eye out for some deals for you, as they do happen to come along. Thanks again, Ken

Nice gear Ken - and a very nice picture indeed, I especially like the spiders, nice touch there Plastic spiders...! Why did it have to be plastic spiders?! Is your bag a WPG with a changed strap? /Jakob

Thanks Jakob! I got my bag from Todd's Costumes, and did change out the strap for his deluxe one. It's a much softer leather (more bendy), but mainly... it was color sealed by him. I got tired of my color/seal job, bleeding all over the shirt while running around in the woods. Ken

I was actually thinking about doing the exact samt thing; buying a WPG bag from Todd's together with a deluxe bag strap.
I really like the WPG bag - but the strap that comes with it just looks horrible.

The bag is a lot more comfortable with a nice leather strap on it.

I just took a plunge at an unissued MKVII from Kevin Endicott. Living in Europe the original bag is actually, at the time being, cheaper than the copy I have still not decided whether to make the bag strap, gunbelt, whip holder and holster myself or order it from somewhere (probably Todd's or Lost Ark) - I have quite some experience in leather crafting from making belts, scabbards and bags for medieval-reenactors. /Jakob

Oh man, great call on picking up one of those bags from Kevin! They're in excellent shape! You won't be disappointed for certain. That's a great idea! If you can make them yourself, that's ultimately the best way to go. There are buckles out there to be found.

There are buckles out there to be found. Indeed. Actually I have already found some nice close enough buckles for both gunbelt and backstrap. I am thinking about using Kim's great holster-pattern; www.indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?t=16634 - the only thing I am missing is the time to actually get it done /Jakob

Indeed John - knowing my own inpatience, I guess I will find the time very soon after recieving my MKVII Speaking of holsters - where is your's from Ken? It looks really great Could you be persuaded to post a bigger photo of it - both front and back? (By the way; sorry for hijacking your thread like this). /Jakob

That's the nice thing about this place. The only hijacking that can happen is a greeting, really. "Hi, Jack." Everything else seems to work. Yeah, Ken, which holster is that? I can't remember which one you bought, but I think it's one of TODD's basics. (One of those "do not miss" bargain gear items!)

Thanks Jeep! No apologies needed...as thread hijacking is just one of the things we take pride in around here. My holster is from Todd's Costumes as well... and is his budget model. I distressed it with sand paper, and dyed it with multiple products including; Brown Pecards, Dark Brown & Brown Meltonian Shoe Creme, Black shoe polish, Tandy 2 in 1 brown stain & finish, and finally a Tandy leather sealer by itself. I tried to make it as brown as Indy's in Raiders, but look well used too. Here are a couple from my gear photo page (linked in my signature), that might give a better look: www.kennydrew.com/indy/4-23-06/Untitled-33.jpgwww.kennydrew.com/indy/New_Indy/73.jpgI will take a couple of closer photos tonight, not a problem. Thanks again, Ken
