So this summer my project will be to build my own grail diary, and any helpful tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. What's the best kind of paper to use for pages, inserts, etc? Should I use ink or pencil? Anything you think might help.

Should I use ink or pencil? Anything you think might help. I use high quality gold paper for the pages of my Grail Diary, 104gsm. Inserts use various kind of paper... some of it have to be printed in 120gsm, other 160... If you want to make it by hand ink is necessary. You have to use pencil only for some pages (like map with no names). Check my website for my replica: www.sarednabworldprops.com
