This may sound crazy but I found a simple way to destress your fedora. Well you know how it always gets dusty up on shelfs or on speakers places like that, well when it's time to dust use your fedora! It may sound crazy but it does work pretty good. Just fold your fedora up and wipe the dust off. Just keep turning the hat so the dust doesn't get all on one spot. Though I havent done this with my Jaxon yet I have done it with a old scala 4 season out back fedora and it worked really good. (I don't have pics of that hat because I gave it to a little kid I know.)
It main not be the best way but it does get the job done. And you clean your house and destress your hat at the same time! ;D

Actually...On this subject..I found a great way to do it quickly and naturally a while back...On a really windy day, head to a park or somewhere with soil...Not grass..Just sand/soil/dirt areas (There's a load here, my experience was in a park, which gets trodden on all the time, so the dirt was left, but fields after a long spell of sun and then a windy day would do the same)..
The amount of dirt my hat picked up was insane...Heavily layered too...Although it DID save my eyes from the same fate...I cleaned it since then in a heavy typhoon...But while it lasted I noticed that had it been "needed" it would have made a great distressed hat for an Indy fan...
If that helps..

I think the best way to do it is still being in the outside and let the hat breathe and collect sand and dust the that way, will look much more natural!!!

Buck...All ya need is a typhoon wind, and a long week of sunshine beforehand...Then find a field...LOTS of distressing to be done there! In about 2-3 hours too! LOL..Of course, your eyes ALSO get distressed..And your skin, and your hair..And your girlfriend...But...Your hat looks wonderful!

Steven, Thank you for the warm welcome. Still trying to figure out how it all works with replying ;D ;D ;D Buck, I agree with you, in that case try the quick road. I tried slightly with my Christys, which is the cheaper hat I own of the 2 and the dust thing actually turns out not too bad visually, I have to admit it gets the job donne pretty well! But I would never do that with my AB Henry though... that one will age naturally
