I just received my coyles or todds costumes lambskin jacket and I went to pick up my cat and he tore a whole in the sleeve. How can I protect my jacket from this happening again? Any suggestions will help.

Keep it way from your cat. I'm not really sure if you can protect it from things like that, in all seriousness. I had an accident last year, there was some broken glass and it make a very light cuts in on the shoulder. Nothing too noticeable, though. I'd say just be careful. Someone else probably has some better advice though. -Josh

That's not the first Jacket V Kitty story I've heard, Kitty always wins!
Some leathers like Horse, Goat and Cow will offer some resistance to cats' claws but those little blighters have sharp little weapons.
Just try and keep em apart and don't rely on your jacket to stop 'em!

And of course, the good thing is, the jacket took it instead of your arm - that's the way it should work. (I know, in this case the "adventure" doesn't quite justify the damage. but maybe you could exaggerate a little ... cobra fangs, panther claw, etc.)
Then again, maybe both the jacket and the arm got it - Todd's aren't very thick.
Yes, keep them apart so the jacket and the cat don't fight anymore.
