Here's another 10ft bullwhip - the last of my saddle tan batch. I altered the taper slightly on this one, keeping more weight in the first third of the thong. As a result it's a little quicker than my regular 10footers.

Any questions yet why I'm such a fan of Nick's work?
I've said it before, but here ya' go again: it takes a fan, to please a fan IMHO. You just cannot expect a non Indy fan to be as picky as we are about certain details and that's why Nick gets my vote whenever someone asks which whip to get.
High regards,
Marc

Another fantastic job! I need to sell a kidney so I can buy another AB and one of Pagey's whips. ;D I think if I do get another whip it's going to be a 10 footer.

Thanks for the kind words folks. My whips are by no means the best out there, but I'm confident that they're not the worst either. I feel I can get a pretty decent Indy look and my whips do crack pretty effortlessly, but there are a whole lot of much finer whipmakers out there. My personal favourites being Mr. Morgan (obviously - he INVENTED this kind of whip!!), Bernardo and Joe Strain. Marc your whip is up next! And then I'm taking a break!!!!!!!

Mr. Morgan is far beyond his best time. The only way to get a s.a. Morgan is to buy a "vintage" one and I just don't see any reason for putting down this amount of money, if I can have at least the same quality from you. And yours even looks the same Joe Strain seems to be an awesome whipmaker. Probably one of (if not) the very best, when it comes to Indy style bullwhips. But I've seen enough examples of great craftmanship from him that lacked on the s.a. side. No pun intended, just stating the facts. Bernado makes some great replicas - no doubt. Regards, Marc P.S.: Just take your time on mine Nick. I'm not in a hurry.

P.S.: Just take your time on mine Nick. I'm not in a hurry. I've done the first belly - and should be able to carry on work next week. Don't worry, I won't be rushing. Incidently, the 10ft posted above is for our good friend Mr. Delk

He told me about his considerations about getting a fair deal on an outstanding whip and I told him that he'd fool himself, if he wouldn't pic one of yours. Good to see that the man takes an advice Regards, Marc
